Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Wait till you see the hatred the people of Karachi or ANY other Pakistanis will have for an invading indian or ANY other foreign force trying to enter in to Pakistan.
Usually MPA, in case of IN, its P-8I which commences SIGINT missions against Pakistan Navy and its submarines to capture their sonar signatures in peacetime.

Your post shows that P-8I should also be able to pick up "hatred in hearts and minds" of people :) There is already so much heat and warm weather in Karachi.

There will be no invasion at all ...other than a massive series of strikes .... Response will also be immediate ...decided hy .

Did you wonder why are the AH-64Es operated by IAF and not IA ?

The IAF provides close air support to the Indian Army troops in the battlefield and also provides strategic and tactical airlift capabilities.

The initial acquisition of 22 AH-64E Apache helicopters for India was handled by the Indian Air Force (IAF) because the procurement process began under their purview in 2009, and the IAF historically operated all attack helicopters in India. However, following an inter-service rivalry and subsequent policy changes, the Indian Army (IA) is now also operating its own fleet of Apaches.

Wait for Subs and PAF to keep IN at bay and incur sufficient loses in hope they turn back (relying on Indian inability to take loses) and then going for the chase or remain onnthe defensive to prevent own loses and claim victory.
This one .

Somewhere on social media ...it was mentioned that IA has stocked up to 300 brahmos missile for Sindoor 2.0.

Mirage-V can carry 1 x Exocet which has 70km range.
JFT can carry 2 x AShMs with different ranges up to 200 Km+
So JFT is more viable platform since it carries modern RWRs, DL for link 17 with AWACs etc.

For the missile, a ship is a moving target, so would the missile require guidance corrections from data link (JFT or AWACs) and how susceptible will it be to jamming.

Are all IN ships equipped with CIWS ?

Ok, I get it now, thanks, and I also understand the point of contention here. I wasn't clear in my earlier response. I mentioned the possible operational deployment but didn't clarify the mission role. I am not positing Mirages as the main ship sinkers, especially out far in the sea. I was positing them as a mere node in the larger attack group serving to target boats/ships in littoral area and/or saturating enemy radars.

In the context of attacking IN CBG out far in the Sea, even the JFT platform isn't viable, and I don't think we will fight any battle that far out - we'll most likely be battling in close defensive formations.

Morwover, the reason to suggest Mirages and JFTs combination for the South was in relation to the IN threat, which isn't large enough to deploy any kind of aircrafts far out in the sea, and freeing up F-16s and J-10Cs for the larger threat posed by IAF in the East.

as per twitter, IA has morality issues

cant work out good from evil!

one has to think why!

How can the gunships (Z10) pitch in for SEAD missions or EW support, if that's conceivable.

Z-10 will do the primary CAS role or tank hunting, but will it control drones and deploy them accordingly ?
I will be surprised if PAAC has made real doctrine and tactical use case for Z-10s yet. I assume they'll likely be performing much the same mission set as our cobras but doing so better at greater standoff ranges and with much greater coordination with PAF and PA via datalink. I wouldnt know what their ability to control drones is but they should be able to communicate. However i do not really see any use case for z-10MEs to perform SEAD missions or extend EW beyond their self protection unless we are really desperate and need those air corridors open via popup attack for less capable assets like mirages. The z-10s could very well be much more useful in countering IA mobile SAMs and radars However
