US Political News and Trump’s China visit

The Muslims are responsible in part for this, as their ethic killing of fellow Muslims, and others, does not stop, no matter where you go, and it gives pretext for others to intervene.

However, let this be a lesson, be it for oil or not, the Christian world will move to protect Christians while the ball-less of our own stood aside.

They didn't protect the Christians in Palestine. Are these lesser Christians?

Less than 60 Christian Gazans were killed since October 7th, 2023, after the first church strike that caused significant casualties. The remaining Christians sheltered in the northern Gaza region, and no strikes were conducted on Christian locations under pressure from the French, who had responsibility for the Church and the West.

The same couldn't be said of the others.

You make it sound as if less than 60 Palestinian Christians dying in a genocide is no big deal?

:cautious:... I'm not discussing the numbers killed but rather the West applied pressure to make sure no further Christian infrastructure was targeted to protect Christian lives, and it worked. As for how many are killed, that's between God and his bastard chosen ones.

No. You are saying that approximately 60 Palestinian Christians died and that is pretty much a low number thus not a big deal.

Although the U.S. threat to attack Nigeria is made in the name of "protecting Christians", it is also driven by multiple interests such as appealing to American evangelical voters, counter-terrorism strategy, energy security, and geopolitical considerations.

Well said. The Christian Zionist voters must be satisfied one way or the other. There is no better way go satisfy the Christian Zionist brigade than to attack Muslims.

Venezuela, Iran, Yemen, and now Nigeria… thats just since he took office. The never ending wars continue. Dosent matter whos the president.

So the South American are overall Christians why Donald Duck is deporting thousands upon thousands of them without due process-Religiously this is ridiculous.
He ‘s also going to threaten Pakistan with military action one day.

Boko Haram is the fully formed, armed , funded, and trained by the world only notorious Mossad +5eys +American CIA just how they collaborated in creating Isis and Ttp .

That's because builders and developers like higher land prices and high housing demand, that way they spend the same amount building houses for more profits. This is the same with oil (we should have just increased production to lower the cost), the same with many issues Americans were facing.

On the other hand, solving the housing issue wouldn't solve the homelessness issue. Even if you have affordable housing, people who aren't accepting help for whatever reason will still be living on the street. As demonstrated by welfare states like Australia, the UK, and Sweden.

The reason we are in this state of government is simply because it's always cheaper to promise to do something than actually do it. And then change the issue/subject when they really need to focus on those issues at hand. This is why we are blaming immigrants for lack of resources instead of the government's failure to provide such resources to begin with. And populists from both sides will just further this agenda, because the core issue why we are getting this way is simply because we, as voters, don't vote for our own benefits,
Look at the choices we get. The two parties are also beholden to powerful and wealthy donors, who want to continue the status quo. Things have gotten so precarious for the middle class that when older New Yorkers make appeals on what happened on 9/11, it doesn’t have the same appeal to the younger New Yorkers that want to know how their problems will be addressed today.

You’re right that many homeless wouldn’t take the housing offered, even if provided. But we still shouldn’t give up on them. Finding ways, within the budget allocated or maybe with a small increase, to make the system work better. The homeless shelters are horribly maintained and there are many mentally ill that go there.

If we had more funding for mentally ill and for drug addicts, we could make the shelter’s safer.

Getting the homeless off the subways would also make the subways more attractive to fare paying commuters, give the system more money to make improvements and generating more revenue for the city indirectly; which could go into more homeless, mental health, and drug addiction care.

Many of the homeless just don’t make enough, so they would take the housing if offered. But there are also many addicts and mentally ill that need separate accommodations and supportive care.

It's late and I won't address it now; will do so tomorrow.

I will say this: you are being deliberately dishonest about this.
It's not dishonest. The ACA is funded by our taxpayer money. The money we pay goes back to us. Republicans want to repeal it so health insurance is no longer subsidized.

Which is going to cost Americans 3,000 per month if they're not getting it through their employer. And even through employer once you add dependents it will skyrocket.

Republicans are biggest hypocrites in the world :

Not true at all, where do you get this information? Way more than 60 were killed and all their areas got flattened. They had to flee to Rafah tent camps and some left Gaza.

Gaza is 99% Sunni Muslim. Our Christian people live in our areas such as Al Shaati camp on the coast being one of them that got entirely ruined.

This is going to be out of control situation. multiple wars everywhere.

President Donald Trump said Saturday he has ordered the Defense Department to prepare for possible military action in Nigeria as he continues to accuse the nation of violence against Christians — an accusation Nigeria has repeatedly denied.

In a social media post criticizing what he called the “mass slaughter” of Christians in the country, Trump wrote the United States would “immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria” and warned the government there to “move fast.”

In the lengthy message, Trump said that the US “may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.”

“I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action,” Trump wrote. “If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians! WARNING: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT BETTER MOVE FAST!”

The announcement comes after Trump accused Nigeria of religious freedom violations on Friday, claiming that “Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria” and designating the nation as a “Country of Particular Concern” under the International Religious Freedom Act. The label is a suggestion that his administration has found that Nigeria has engaged or tolerated “systematic, ongoing, (and) egregious violations of religious freedom.”

In a social media post after the designation, but before Trump’s mention of the military, Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu wrote, “The characterisation of Nigeria as religiously intolerant does not reflect our national reality, nor does it take into consideration the consistent and sincere efforts of the government to safeguard freedom of religion and beliefs for all Nigerians.”

He added that Nigeria is “working with the United States government and the international community to deepen understanding and cooperation on protection of communities of all faiths.”

Tinubu’s press secretary, responding to a social media post from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio condemning the “slaughter of thousands of Christians” called the characterization “a gross exaggeration of the Nigerian situation,” adding that “Christians, Muslims, churches and mosques are attacked randomly.”

“What our country requires from America is military support to fight these violent extremists in some states of our country, not designation as a nation of particular concern,” said Bayo Onanuga.

Both Christians and Muslims have been victims of attacks by radical Islamists in Nigeria. The violence in the country is driven by varying factors: Some incidents are religiously motivated and affect both groups, while others arise from disputes between farmers and herders over limited resources, as well as communal and ethnic tensions.

Although Christians are among those targeted, local reports indicate that most victims are Muslims living in Nigeria’s predominantly Muslim north.

Spokespersons for the White House and Tinubu’s office did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Classic diversion tactics by Trump + Republicans.

Healthcare costs starting yesterday have tripled. It will now cost as much as many people's mortgage.

Economy is very bad, massive job cuts, very hard to find jobs now. Corporations are abusing people making record profits due to Trump tax cuts for the wealthy while Trump administration takes away benefits for American taxpayers to fund garbage like his Mar A Lago event.

They distract people with 'we will protect Christians' in Nigeria despite nothing even happening in Nigeria. It's a stable country. One of their officials even just set up a meeting with Trump.

Mind you MAGA Republicans hate black people and want to make them slaves in America.

America is self destructing, nothing to worry about for Africa.
