US Political News and Trump’s China visit

Zionist interest was never American interest. Iraq war made ordinary American life much worst and only Israel benefited.
Which Iraq War? The second one?

Most everyone knew the real reason was revenge. Still, was there evidence of weapons of mass destruction? Depends on who you ask.

It's true Saddam used chemical weapons on the Kurds. It's also true some of the precursor chemicals were uncovered. A friend of mine was at Taji at the time when the discovery was made.

Well, iranians were also killed with that gas.

Anyway.

If that was a retaliation, it cost a crazy money to US to the point that US fell behind China in the arms race at least in UAV technology and Navy set records.

And if it was for defending Kurds human rights US failed miserably. To the point that US (with the hand of US and their NGO) has used starvation two times in the last 10 years. One in Yemen and the other in Palestine.

So all in all was the most stupid decision of a President in the last years. But here we go again. Next station... Venezuela.

Zionist interest was never American interest. Iraq war made ordinary American life much worst and only Israel benefited.

Like any war, the Iraq War had its socio-economic costs, but the American populace prospered, and development moved on; although it gave little way to the Chinese, the Americans still held the lead.

To say that Israel was the only beneficiary after removing one of its antagonists, Saddam Hussein, is partially correct. Iran, too, benefited from the removal of the Saddam Regime. It built up its Shia Crescent groups, except its mouth kept going off, which hampered its efforts to solidify its position; that was its own goal, and now they have nothing, they squandered their gains.

I need Pakistani's to stop thinking in a conspiracy theory mindset like our elders; can scheming be going on in the background, sure, but who doesn't? If they plan, so should you plan. The rules of the game are there for everyone to follow; just because the Islamic World is Impotent doesn't mean the game is rigged.

(The new flash point, Sudan, should give you an idea of the impotence of the Islamic World, no shortage of getting our own killed if they are Arab African or non-Arab African Muslims. How would you blame this on Israel, or the U.S., for that matter?)

I hope it works out for NYC. The chat group I belong to is made up mostly of retired NYPD (I was adopted into the group). They don't see things improving.
I hear you and I’m worried as well, but consider much of what he wants to do will require the legislature to fund or change the laws, and I’ll mean he will have to govern well for at least a year under current laws.

That’s why my friends on the force are at least relived he’s keeping the current police commissioner on. But having said that, they are weary this election could give the wrong impression to criminals that they will have Carte Blanche and any civilian review board won’t understand the stress officers are under.

I hope Mamdani, if elected, respects these concerns. I hope he boosts those uniformed violence intervention groups, but leaves the door open to hire more cops and back them up if things look like they are turning for the worst.

If he helps Dems flip congress and help’s Gov. Hochul keep her seat, I hope he can get more money for mental healthcare, and quietly allows more limitations on bail reform (which Cuomo put in), to allow those with extensive records to not get back on the streets without trial.
