Pakistan Constitutional Amendments:

The FCC will have the authority to approve the Supreme Court’s suo motu powers if deemed appropriate.

Now that we have the advantage of hindsight, we see how much damage was done to Pakistan by the former Chief Justice Iftikhar; I hear in trillions of Rupees as he blocked some govt policies. Yeah, he knew it all. Another Messiah from another era. And if he such a visionary, caring person for Pakistan, where is he now?? And where is the Imported Mullah from Canada Mr. Tahir ul Qadri?
Real visionaries, real patriots just don't disappear after causing a lot chaos, noise, changes. They stay around and fight and fight.

Specifically the Reqo Diq project for sure. His karnameys delayed the project by at least 10 years if not more. Had it not for his intervention, the project would have been generating revenues of at least USD 10 billion by now.

Regards

you think he did out of goodness of his heart or he did that because he was thrown out and wanted to come back
If coming "back to power" was his goal, all he to do was sit in opposition and work within the same "system" that originally brought him in power and later booted out. Why take the hard & difficult fight against military establishment in the presence of a much easier deal with the same? 🙄

idk man ask his highness that , maybe he had no choice as asim muneer had personal vengeance .

…maybe he had no choice as asim muneer had personal vengeance .
Then it’s actually good for the country in the long run as cutting no deal with military establishment is always better unlike what used to happen in the past with imprisoned leaders like Zardari and Nawaz.

You often troll so hard to say if you are serious or not but now there is consensus that the former Chief Justice Iftikhar's policies caused a great harm to Pakistan's economy. And he was supported by the Noonies and Imran with one single goal: To dethrone President Musharraf.
But it was not only the economic losses, that Judge also interfered in security operations in Baluchistan for the 'Missing Persons' cases. Now, if we see what the current Chief Minister Bugti says, most of those 'Missing Persons' were/are ultimately traced to violent separatists. But Baluchistan burns while the bastard Judge is enjoying a cushy retirement and some high award which the American judiciary bestowed upon him for his 'courage'.
Pathetic!!
