These are either the remnants of the "urban naxal " peaceniks or playing the "soft war " to lull us into complacency.
We have already discussed elsewhere how the destruction of Pakistan can be achieved in two ways .
1. Militarily ( which for now seems less feasible)
2. By soft power , emphasizing the futility of the existence of Pakistan based on the "one people " theory.

The second option has worked in the case of East Germany ( GDR) which ceased to exist after collapsing and merging back into West Germany. It took decades of soft "people to people " interaction and the dissolution of the Soviet Union and Warsaw pact to make that happen. Similarly Hong Kong merged back into China .
Die hard secularists in India believe that what happened to GDR will eventually happen to Pakistan; economic collapse and the futility of resisting Indian assimilation. In their view harping on India's military superiority is unproductive.
Which is why some Indian members here adopt the "soft stance ". Masking the vitriol prevalent in India against their own fellow citizens ( Indian Muslims) helps to conjure an image of civility and tolerance in the eyes of the Pakistani population l

There is a big difference between IND/PAK/BD and the two Germanies. The latter partition was done against the will of the Germans by occupying imperial powers. The partition of India was voluntary.

Okay lets say for a second that in their minds Ops. Sindoor was a success.

Their Media didn't do 'em any favors in the fisrt 48hrs or later by spawning fake news back & forth.

Anyone here can go back & check the comments (on YouTube) of the people when everything was going down. Only to later realize that:
- no F-16 was shot down
- no Viper Driver in custody
- Karachi Port is perfectly fine
- there is no Lahore Port
- (then) CoAS Asim Munir had NOT been arrested
- Baluchistan is still part of Pakistan

...

Should I go on ?

All those voices & faces like Barkha Dutt, Maj. Gurav Arya, Arnab whatshisface etc took a major hit. There are plenty of videos of their own public mocking them.

Pakistan is under constant assault from a vicious fascist savage regime for 78 years and has survived.
That is our success.

Pakistan is 7 times smaller country than its enemy, yet havs built a military and economic alliance with the second most powerful country in the world ,China ; and has a good measure of support from the USA which is the most powerful country in the world . Powerful countries won't support a "crippled failed state " in an endless war with a powerful neighboring adversary. But our alliances are holding because our integrity and courage is recognized and valued. With the support of our allies we have held our most vicious enemy in check and off balance, and will continue to impose a cost on the aggressor.
Blunting the aggression from a vicious savage entity with a medieval religiously fundamentalist mindset is our top priority which we have achieved

That is our success ! That is what we are proud of.

Other smaller nations in the neighborhood are looking at us and following the same path, building similar alliances with us to defeat Indian aggression and hegemony.

That is our success !

I certainly won't deny Pakistan being a smaller state has stood against a lot more powerful adversary for so long though at a great cost to itself. The question is why to stand at all.. why not just negotiate peace settlement before it takes more damage.

We all love how india shouts nonstop about the economy but that is only on the acocunt of your 7 times larger population. In terms of GDP per capita India was worse off than Pakistan until early 2000s and is not that far off from Pakistan, even today. A country like Pakistan has much higher prospects of jumping up in GDP per capita very quickly, since we have been artificially bogged down by Afghan war since the 80s and there is far more untapped investment, mineral extraction, oil extraction and other opportunities here, with a far smaller population.

So, before lecturing Pakistan, do not forget that in terms of per capita economy, india has only recently overtaken Pakistan by a small margin and it can take very little time for the tables to turn. Overall GDP, yes, India is in much of a lead and that's normal for a far large population, that is not an area where Pakistan can and should bother to compete. Its the standards of living of individuals that count.

As for military, Pakistan has kept enough deterrence to not let india take back almost 83,000 Sq KMs of area that india claims to be its own while staying on par 9slightly better or worse) with India on GDP per Capita and HDI. Granted we have had huge economic gap since 1990s but with the Afghan problem being taken care of, things should be under control and back to normal. india needs to care abut the poverty, devastated foreign relations and especially the military failures since the last decade. For all our problems, at least we do not have an internationally designated ethnic butcher of Gujrat as our leader. Thank you.

Again, India is not a country for any one to compete against it or take it as a reference, you aint gonna find more poverty at such a enormous scale any where in the world, but the fact that Pakistan being a smaller state with a lot of fertile land and strategic position has fallen even behind India is certainly amusing and needs self reflection.
