Military establishment can engineer elections, install their favorites into power, expel their no-longer favorites from power. They are basically untouchable kings of the country. And yet, despite all their far reaching powers, they simply can’t make a person popular among the masses. Nor can they make a person unpopular once he has gained enough attention of the masses. Kudos to your nerves for putting up with that Norwegian guy for so long! I had him put on my Ignore list several days ago. For all I know, he might be paid for posting on Per Word basis. There are several pro Imran ones on this forum--some even expats in Western countries--but they are decent despite my disagreements with them.

With all due non-respect, it’s actually the military establishment of Pakistan that has destroyed democracy by never accepting election results and also destroyed judiciary by never abiding court rulings which do not go in their favor!

he never asked intervention from the same people he loathe now?!

I support true democracy and not any one party. Nah the intervention is what kept PTI party away from power for years. It's only when 'they' stopped supporting PPP and PML like musical chairs that IK came in the spotlight. You cannot have it both ways to say IK is a populist and then say he was brought by 'them'. Populists get votes, no one needs to 'help' them. They just need to stand back and stop interfering in things their FA pass brains don't understand. We thank them for doing the job they are paid for and volunteered for which is defence of the country. Rest is beyond their training and understanding.
