I don't get the purpose of this press conference. The dude has been locked up for years, has no access to social media and for the past 3 months or less has not meet any person. So why all of a sudden name calling(which was extremely un-professionall coming from a general!) Also, saying he is colluding with outside actors??? How? From jail, how is he getting info from them and vice versa. You are making an incompetent man(I voted for him all the times, but his 3 to 4 yrs rule he messed up so badly it reminded me of a match against aus when we lost 3 or 4 wickets and could not make 6 runs or sth in the last over). His tenure was an utter disaster. He had the worst team in Gov. Switching ministers as if trying on a pair of shoes.
But! In the press conference regarding what he said about imran, every Pakistani will be saying, "its like the pot calling the kettle black". When he said we dont interfere and then using the phrase 'you can fool people sometimes but not all the people all the time" people will be wondering the same thing applies for them! So why talk about something that you yourself are so involved in. Especially when both have massive egos. Hell all parts that make up the executive country have massive egos.
Anyhow, insults were pointless talking about him was pointless. They are making him a Nelson Mandela, though time will tell if he turns out that way if released.
Why in Gods name did they shoot themselves in the foot. Its was so pointless. My God, don't know what to say, just that they are making things worse for themselves and the country. Either forget about him or release him. But to bring him up just to insult him has to be the most childish and immature decision ever made. I hope they learn from this. They really need a civilian who can advise them on such matters, like seriously!!!
God bless Pakistan and God bless Pakistanis.
