Come on bro, Imran Khan is not Imam Hussain and the opposition is not Yazeed, I think its better not to use religious slogans at this time.

No modern leader/person can ever be compared to Imam Hussain R.A...Imran Khan or any other person isn’t even equal to the dust of Imam Hussain’s R.A. shoes.

The analogy is symbolic, not literal. What matters is whether someone strives to follow the sunnah and the principles Imam Hussain R.A stood for. Those who do can be seen as heroes in their own time.

On the other hand, people also have the choice to act like Yazid did and sadly many are choosing that path today. If things like the iddat case, torture, stealing mandate, bribing politicians to switch sides, raiding homes, kidnapping people and even assassination aren’t Yazeedi type actions, then I don’t know what is.

Barrister Gohar press conference on calming down the situation, to create a space for dialogue and working out the differences. @maverick PTI chairman Gohar sahib is also speaking in similar manner.

I usually stay out of politics, but things have changed. We’re in a different era now. Everyone fucker has carved out their share in Pakistan Noonies has Punjab, peepee has Sindh, and the army has secured a permanent role without calling it "martial law". PTI ended up being the catalyst that brought all of this together.

At this point, they should put the power struggles aside and focus on the country. Give people law and order, safety, and the basic necessities every human deserves.

Forget those cases. Imran should have been tried for throwing out the No Confidence Motion and then illegally dissolving the Assemblies. Give me examples of 'democrats' in Parliamentary democracies where the Prime Minister takes such actions? He violated the Const. of Pakistan and that was enough to disqualify him and put him and his President Alvi behind the bars.
Pakistani Establishment was either too lenient or too stupid to have missed a perfect legal case against Imran and his minions in April 2022 and let the crooks propagate their 'narrative' for a year to build their support base.

First and foremost, they should give back the people's mandate. That is baseline from which the nation can take a positive trajectory. It's in nobodies interest to have the current crooks in power. They've looted and raped the country dry multiple times to the point that we're hundreds of billions in debt.

yeah mb , yes i would feel bad if it was my parents normally . but in this context it literally means **** off . if you cant handle the word **** off then i am sorry for you

We’ve got different values man, I don’t care if someone talks abusively to me but my parents and family are off limits.

This!! Every word needs pondering.
And I suspect you have a soft spot for Imran Khan.

Its not about a soft spot, its the best way forward, do we want Imran Khan a political leader, ex PM to spend rest of his life in jail and die. Its better for Pakistan that political instability, politics of egos and hatred is controlled so we can move forward as a nation. We often compare ourselves to Europe or UAE Saudia Qatar but in reality we should be comparing ourselves to as you pointed out to Bangladesh, I would also add Egypt although they get cheap gas and oil from GCC so prices are cheaper. Our economy compared to Bangladesh and Egypt is not too bad, Turkey Malaysia Indonesia are highly educated societies, Iran is under sanctions otherwise they be like Saudia with their oil and gas reserves.

By the way my point is not to say establishment is correct or Imran Khan but to point out how would we deal with challenges when we are treated like Iran or Russia, this already happened when sanctions destroyed our economy. Its for the Pakistanis to look at both point of views and make a decision. Establishment has formed long term relationships and policies with Usa Europe GCC and they do not want to sabotage them, despite getting used many times. The same way they formed close strategic military and economic relations with China and do not want to sabotage it, no matter who comes in power. Its up to Pakistanis to ponder upon this and decide their future. I too get angry when Usa uses us, we claim to be their allies but they sanctions us when we test missiles or want to buy helicopter from Turkey. Its high level world politics, full of backstabbing and betrayal. So this is another angle, one is domestic problems and ego fights and another one is foreign policy disagreements. Establishment and PTI have MAJOR disagreements on both fronts.

How many of you want to bet with me here that if Imran is out free in Pakistan he won't try to wreck the Pakistani economy? He is going to do exactly what he did since 2014 and multiple times: Long marches, public demonstrations, lockdowns, asking people to stop sending remittances, asking IMF to stop the loan programs, asking Pakistanis to not pay the utility bills. He did those things before he was incarcerated. So it is not what I want: It is what Pakistan needs: Stability, focus, and continuation of policies. A guy like a PM Imran who didn't want to attend the crucial NSC meetings during the 2019 crisis with India is only capable of anarchy if he is not given the power. And there is a long history to back that up.

Maybe you and others could benefit from how even the Chinese became irritated by the PM Imran. Even the Chinese!

Seems, the fine officers are now disappeared, there was a time when ...

@Oscar @Irfan Baloch @muz .. a policy change also over period of time ?

You mean Ayub Khan or Yahya Khan, Zia ul Haq or Musharraf?

Did Imran know cases were coming for him so even if he gracefully accepted the VONC and rejoined the opposition he would have been arrested anyway?

Economy bachi kahan hai jo mazeed wreck karega koi?
We are trying to sell the world what we don't have!

Agreed, there is no economy left in Pakistan. There is mass famine. The military is fighting India using swords. The Afghan hordes are running all over Pakistan. Everyone in Pakistan lives in some caves. There are no air, train, bus travel in Pakistan. Everything is totally shut down. People peeing and defecated on the streets as sewage system has broken down. No one see the Pakistani leadership. No foreign leader even comes to Pakistan.
No money. No money. No money. The sky has fallen. The sky has fallen. The SKY HAS FALLEN!
