Bangladesh Socio-Political Crisis 2024 and onwards

. @LeonBlack08 @Afif @DalalErMaNodi do you guys support members such as this here supporting vandalism, arson, and looting public and private property in our own country? What if people died or were burnt? What will you say Allah swt on the day of judgement.

I am not in favor of vandalism or looting of civilian property of any sort because it goes against the tenets of Islam as you note

From purely secular perspective - these vandalism of property is not even effective. Especially against these Uber leftist and Pro India outlets. It will give them sympathy domestically and internationally and they will milk it till judgement day.

Even shutting down to censor will not help in this day and age. They will play victim to garner sympathy.

What I would have liked to see instead was a rise of right wing/centre right media wing to counter the nonsense pumped by the Uber leftist pro Indian media. Let them fight it out with words. Unfortunately we haven't seen a strong counter media perspective for an independent and pro Islam Bangladesh. In Bengali, Amar Desh does it to some degree. But haven't seen anything in English. Pro Indian and Islamophobe voice is disproportionately high in Bangladeshi media

lol the centre was built in 1961? Did India build it in 1961? So Bengali music and language is Indian culture 🤣🤣🤣 let me guess you would prefer we speak Urdu ?

It was created by a Noti who happened to be mother of behaya sultana chakraborty. It was created to promote Bengali Hindu culture. Look at their cultural programs you besharam insaan. Even their logo resembles Bharti flag.

Ya let me guess 100 percent support your jamaati buddies; anyone who doesn’t is Indian, raw agent or not Bangladeshi according fascist like you

No, I'm not going to claim anything at this point. We didn't have a fair election since 2001.

Well there are many different philosophies and viewpoints in Bdesh. There are some bengalis who focus more on Bengali culture while there are others who are more religious. The problem is both sides are uncompromising. The BAL, leftist, cultural bengalis will label all Islamic minded bengalis as Rajakaars while the Islamic minded Bengalis now will say all the Bengalis who are more cultural or leftist as Indian raw agents, kaafirs etc. this generalization and polarization is the reason Bdesh will never prosper.
Awami league and their supporters made that mistake after 1971 when they labelled every Islam oriented Bengalis even those from Muslim league etc as jamaatis. Even not all Jamatis were violent or engaged in violence. However they were labelled as such and this has led years of division and disunity. Now I see members here, people with legitimate grievances against Awami league branding everyone who supports or supported BAL as criminals terrorists etc who need to be lynched or killed. This cycle will repeat.
What the NCP, BNP or others should be doing is stating clearly that criminals of BAL will be held accountable in fair trials. However the average BAL supporters / moderates should be reached out and brought into the fold so we have unity in the country. Ostracising them will make these people vulnerable to joining foreign govts for survival.
Prothom Alo, daily star maybe leftist I am not sure. However as long as they are not printing lies, slander, and defamation; what is the point of burning them. In the US there is Fox News, cnn, cbs etc all. These stupid protesters don’t realize that they are destabilizing their own country and property and once they scare away the foreign investors; what excuse will they give? As usual blame raw, India etc and btw if you read my posts I am not a fan of India, rss, or modi. I prefer Bdesh have closer relations with China and Turkey in defence economy and tech. However realistically India is our neighbour on 3 sides and we need to maintain cordial relations with them for our own prosperity.
You have fools like ncp and bnp leaders talking about capturing 7 sisters. Why? Those are Hindu majority areas; why would we want them or why would they want to join us. Secondly how will they capture it even if they wanted; our navy airforce are weak. We don’t have missiles, our ships are mostly outdated, submarines are old and not enough. When India attacks due these provocations will these netas fight on the frontlines? No they will be the first ones to run.

Those words could have been written in 1971 when India was sponsoring 'freedom' in the then East Pakistan using Mukti Bahini.
Anyway, I don't know what's going on BD; I don't follow that country much except I wish them well. And I don't see how 55+ years of Awami League's hold on many segments of the Bangladeshi society is going away anytime soon.
Please tag me if/when BD removes Sh. Mujib's photo from their currency bill--that will a sort of finale, if it ever comes.
@Al-Zakir

I believe so far 100 TK was redesigned and released to market.

@AbuShalehRumi can you confirm?

It was created in 1961. Please tell me how India raw created this in 1961. Secondly who are you to say what is Bengali culture ? And what people should follow? Are you fascist? There are Bangladeshis whether you like it or not part of this organization and they like Bengali music, dance, folk songs etc. You don’t like that’s your right and freedom; however you don’t have the right to restrict others. Burning, vandalizing is against Islam. Do you realize by supporting these stupid actions you are destroying the image of our deen ?

Child dies in arson attack on BNP leader’s Lakshmipur home

A child has been killed and three other people injured after an alleged arson attack on the home of a BNP leader in Lakshmipur.

The incident occurred late on Friday night in the Sutargupta area of Char Mansa village in Lakshmipur Sadar Upazila, according to Md Wahid Parvez, chief of Lakshmipur Sadar Model Police Station.

Police said the attackers locked the door of the house from outside before pouring petrol around the building and setting it on fire.

The victim, 7-year-old Ayesha Akter, was the daughter of Belal Hossain, a fertiliser and pesticide trader at the Sutar Guptа market and joint organising secretary of the Bhabaniganj Union BNP.

Belal and his other daughters, Bithi Akter and Smriti Akter, also suffered burns.

Citing family members and local residents, Wahid said Belal, his wife and children were asleep inside the house when the attackers locked the door of the house from outside before pouring petrol around it and setting it on fire.

The fire spread rapidly within moments and Ayesha was burnt to death at the scene, he added.

Belal, Bithi and Smriti were rescued by local residents and taken to Lakshmipur Sadar Hospital.

The two girls were later transferred to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where doctors described their condition as critical. Large portions of their bodies have been burnt.

Laxmipur Fire Service's Ranjit Kumar Das said firefighters managed to bring the fire under control after reaching the scene, but the house had already been completely gutted.

“One child was found dead, and three people were rescued with burn injuries,” he said.

Wahid said police visited the scene shortly after the incident and had launched an investigation to determine whether this was a planned act of sabotage.
