"Trade data shows that export losses for Afghanistan have reached around 10 per cent since October 10, compared with about 0.6pc for Pakistan due to the suspension of bilateral trade, placing Kabul at a clear disadvantage."

"Terrorist attacks went down by almost 17 per cent in December, preceded by 9pc decline in November. Terrorist violence-linked fatalities among civilians and security officials also fell in the last quarter of 2025, by nearly 4pc and 19pc each in November and December, shows data collected by the Centre for Research and Security Studies (CRSS) as part of its annual security report 2025."

This is good news in a very long while and hope the momentum shifts, but we have to be vigilant, because after taking a tough beating our enemies must be resting and recuperating before launching another fresh wave of attacks. Everyone here and with a common sense now knows that border security is very important and counter terrorism forces and police in KPK needs to become more stronger with latest tech and equipment to defend against these barbarians.

Pakistan has recorded a significant drop in cross-border terrorist attacks and violence-linked fatalities after it closed down the border to Afghanistan on October 11.

To me this shows that many of the Terrorists were transported using Food and equipment trucks originating from Afghanistan, and even Terrorists being sent back to A-stan after the terrorist acts were completed by using the same trucks and vehicles.

A certain qom who wished to see Quetta and Peshawar fall to proxy forces as far back as May 2025 might well have been hoping for a different outcome.

Now for my gentle reminder -

Am still very uneasy over the fact that Talibs themselves, through stupidity, handed this victory to Pakistan.

Would we, if push came to shove, have ourselves taken this simple step of closing a border to a demonstrably hostile country?! Or are we so full of mir jafars that we would have found some excuse not to?

The concern remains that someone in 2026 will find a way to undo this small gain.

We simply cannot rely on enemies to make blunders all the time!

Pakistan needs to kick out ALL afghans, send them home and PERMANENTLY seal the border for AT LEAST 10 years. NOTHING comes in or goes out. This would PERMANENTLY solve the afghan problem FOREVER.

PS The KUFFAR taliban ONLY closed the border after Pakistan bombed them and killed many KUFFAR terrorists. So some credit does go to Pakistan.

These KUFFAR taliban ALL need to be obliterated from the face of the earth and sent to hell or reincarnated as the dogs that they are as per their REAL religious beliefs.
