What took USA so long to coup Maduro, the NAVY was ready for months?Now we can live together what happened:
1) The U.S. intelligence infiltrated the government structures (Like in Syria)
2) USA was negotiating and bribing Venezuelan officials and military
3) This deal making took months
4) When the deal was done, they just flew in and took Maduro with 0 resistance
5) Blew up some stuff for distraction, show and drama
-> Maduro was making dancing videos and bragging about the military, while his ministers sold him out.
A) Looks like not a single shot was fired by Venezuelan military, what is just confirmation of the sellout
B) Also Trump instantly announced that the Venezuelan Vice President is ready to make “Venezuela great again” … COME ON

The Houthis were able to fend off multiple US Carrier groups into retreat, and you have to assume Venezuela would be better prepared ? Lets see, I do think Venezuela has folded already.

Good point. The US was deeply involved in destabilizing Latin America in the 1970s and 1980s but had then left the region alone since then. Because of that many Latin American countries were able to starve their militaries, build democracies, invest in human capital and infra and sign trade agreements. Heck Fidel Castro was able to die in peace in old age! Its not been noticed much abroad but Latin America is in much better shape than most of the Islamic world.

Yes - indeed. The size of the South American economy is $4.38 trillion with a population of 434 million. Compare that with India at $4.15 trillion with 1.4 billion people. South America is economically materially significant as a block.

Hugo Chavez warned that the US will do the same in Venezuela and accuse him of drug trafficking in order to access the oil.
It is Maduro who has been accused of drug trafficking and will be convicted in a kangaroo court over nonsensical charges.
