Does MAGA know that citizens have to provide their earnings and documentation to prove they can sponsor an immigrant before any immigration visa is issued ? Its always been part of the process and does not rely on the snap judgement of a consular official in an embassy.

The people exempt from this were the ones crossing the Southern border in the millions, who only had to claim persecution and were let in, no standards needed.

Once again America cracks down on legal immigration, making it slower and harder.

You want to reduce the overall immigration numbers, fine. But if you think you can drastically reduce it , or zero it, and still have enough people to work in all kinds of jobs, you are in for a rude awakening. This is especially the case for manual labor or high tech jobs. Take a look at Brexit.

Americans dont give immigrants the credit that it should. I also don't think doubling down on making legal immigration even slower even harder and more expensive, while illegal remains cheap and easy, is the right path.

Perhaps you've missed some of my other posts that pointed out a number of career fields where the US has definite shortages.

Some of the countries on the list have long been sponsors of terrorism. There should be increased vetting of those applicants.
