Bangladesh will not play T20 World Cup games in India over safety concerns

Considering that India generates 80 percent of the revenue for global cricket. India can do it alone if it needs to, just like American football.

But i don't think we will need too.
Will the Afghanistan-Sri Lanka match generate the same amount of "revenue " as a rigged India-Pakistan cricket match?

I knew from day one that no one would support the clown show at the BCB—neither Pakistan nor anyone else. Every team will play the World Cup, and Bangladesh will be left isolated, all thanks to the stupidity of our board.

one thing is for certain, Bangladeshi players are completely against this ridiculous decision. They are desperate to play the tournament, eager to compete at the highest level. It’s not the players who feel insecure, it’s the politically driven, corrupt BCB officials who are forcing their agenda down everyone’s throat.

These imbeciles publicly threatened the cricketers, saying they wouldn’t be paid if Bangladesh forfeits the t20 tournament. That moronic, selfish statement enraged the cricketers, and r Cricketers Welfare Association has already warned that they would boycott the BPL if this issue isn’t resolved immediately.

Point is, BCB's decision to boycott t20 tournament in India has nothing to do with player safety or cricketing principles. This is all about corrupt BCB puppets willing to sacrifice Bangladesh cricket just to score cheap political points—stoking anti-India sentiment to benefit a certain anti-state party in the upcoming election.

In the end, the consequences will be borne by Bangladesh cricket and its players. The damage inflicted will be irreversible and cricket in Bangladesh will pay the ultimate price.

Oh look

Cricket has become a communal cesspool

Now A joke sport, once world renowned for it's traditions

And it's nose diving with it's new custodians

Caution on giving power to the wrong people

BD's stance is legitimate and based on the fact on the ground. Bd players, staff, fans are not safe in India from it's Gobar Bhakt Hindu terrorist.
Based on political issues not cricketing - a player removed from a private league and bCB took so much into heart

Hindu terrorist - why can't called Muslim terrorist? If you want to categorised?

At what basis - you are generalizing to any religious?

Unnecessary whining over a cricketer being ejected from IPL. It's not even BCBs concern because they don't get a cut from the revenue. The player lost money and they seem to be seeing this as a rallying point. Pretty stupid IMO. Probably why BD players are unhappy with their board making a fuss out of this because future revenue of Players also depend on the cricketing relationship going smoothly.

In my opinion, Bangladeshi players are desperate to take part in the tournament to showcase their abilities and earn money. This became evident in the recent press conference held by the Cricketers Welfare Association, where its representatives strongly condemned the idiotic remarks made by the puppet officials of the BCB. They even issued an ultimatum, warning that they would boycott the domestic T20 tournament unless that buffoon of a BCB official is permanently removed.

The puppets currently residing in BCB will finish BD cricket, and the clowns supporting their stance to boycott t20 tournament wouldn't even care if that happens because this group doesn't care about cricket or any other sports for that matter.

Oh really 😂😂😂😂
Between India and the Bangladesh Cricket Board, the issue is now more political than cricketing.

Pakistan is behaving like “begane ki shaadi mein Abdullah deewana”—over-reacting to a situation that doesn’t directly concern them.

If reports are true, Bangladesh has been given an ultimatum that by 21st they must confirm whether they will participate or be replaced.

This is definitely a loss for cricket overall, but Bangladesh gains nothing from this situation. Their players may miss the World Cup, though they will still receive their International Cricket Council revenue share.

Right now, the hottest topic in the media is Pakistan—everyone is waiting to see what the Pakistan Cricket Board officially decides.

Will they fulfill what they were giving insurance to bcb.

Why Bd player Mustafiz was kicked out from IPL? Look it up and then comment.

It is not, if BD's stance was correct, why did they not object when the world cup schedule was being decided and they agreed to it and signed the agreement.

They could have asked to play thier matches in Sri lanka and they would have gotten so, just like how Pakistan did.

Why did they only object to playing in India after their player was kicked out of IPL, that too less then a month before the world cup is due to start.

Now Bangladesh has 2 options either play their matches in India or withdraw from the world cup, after which another associate member team, most likely Scotland will be brought in to replace Bangladesh.

India has politicized cricket to the point of this, it's a crappy sport now.

Bangladesh does not get to decide who does or does not play in IPL.

And IPL has nothing to do with ICC.

Based on what threat assessment carried out which global body?

You have signed a contract with ICC to play your matches in India, either follow the contract or lay off.

No concession are being made for your temper tantrums.

Sir ji - it was a private cricket league - it was not a international cricket tournament.

Even so due to the political reasons - I am not going to denied that.

Before the scheduled release - bcb was okay, but after that Incident -security issues came.

Anyway - i don't blame bcb, it's Bangladesh government fault - they only directing it.. but if bcb will not able to play, it will be disaster for them

Politics has always been part of cricket. For example, even a country’s Home Minister can have influence over cricket administration and part of administration. We also remember how Sarfaraz Ahmed was removed from captaincy after reportedly not following Imran Khan’s advice on team decisions, such as opting to bat first after winning the toss in world cup.

In sports in general—not just cricket—there are countless examples where politics has played a role, national to international. It always has, and it always will.

Anyone who claims, innocently, that politics and sports are completely separate is either fooling themselves or joking
