India Foreign Policy Thread

Poles got a similar knack at this as well. When Indian team visited Poland we were questioned about our relationship with Russia. This time we returned the favour. So did Poland make enemy out of us? No, we didn't make enemy out of them either. But maybe this is an opportunity for Shabas and Supreme commander to visit the poles and convey your condolences
Maybe it's time for the Vishwaguru to visit Poland and give the Polish Prime minister a hug and say " Sir, excuse me please, could I talk to you? "

It's all too late. India is on a fast track to become an ideological Hindu state as more and more foreign Sultans and Kings term Modi, the 2nd father of India after the naked fakir who was shot dead
So how is the "second father of India " viewed by President Trump ? He said he likes him because he said " Sir, excuse me please, could I speak with you? "

Mr. Trump crowned Modi, his close friend, the title of Father of modern India. Like Maharajas before, the policymaking is discretion of the Maharaja.

In terms of optics and diplomacy this looks like a disaster, but guess India needs to take it's wins where it can....

This is not the first time that there was an optics and diplomacy disaster:
In June 2022, a major diplomatic incident occurred where Qatar formally reprimanded India while then-Vice President Venkaiah Naidu was visiting the country.

The Father of Modern India declined a dinner invitation at the White House because the Pakistani Army Chief was in town. That's rude !

Choosing sides in Saudi-UAE conflict would be very bad as both countries are equally important to us.

That's a testimony to how close the friendship is that Modi can afford to decline Trump offers and live to tell the tale.

Unfortunately the consequences were a 50% tariffs.
US 50% tariffs on Indian goods (textiles, gems, auto parts) which have caused significant job losses, with estimates ranging from
hundreds of thousands to potentially millions, particularly in labor-intensive sectors like apparel (e.g., 2+ million jobs at risk in textiles) and gems (e.g., 135,000+ lost in Surat), affecting small businesses and disrupting India's manufacturing hub ambitions. Specific figures include 100,000-200,000 textile jobs in Tiruppur, 135,000+ in Surat's gem sector, and millions in textiles, with broad impacts on livelihoods and export-oriented industries.
Additionally, there is repetitive humiliation of the statement that the USA brokered a ceasefire between India and Pakistan and the declaration that "7-8 planes were shot down ".

India has a massive economy, untold mineral riches and human capital. It can withstand 400 percent tariffs. Losing a dozen planes is part and parcel of warfare. It's all affordable and 1.5bn Indians would sacrifice half a million people without haste.

I think they need constant reminders. Don't mind the chatter here but India needs to constantly give back. Ofcourse "mighty" European nation you can't place on map won't take it lying down but once they only dished. Now they will come to Delhi knowing what awaits.

Great. I wish the Vishwaguru and your Defense Minister would have made this statement in Parliament to silence screams from the members of opposition waving pictures of downed aircraft debris .
Getting Major General GD Bakshi and his audience including Arnab Goswamy to make the same statement would help also.
What doesn't help is Ajit Doval's statement, "Not a single pane of glass was broken "
A "great nation " doesn't need to lie. Only weak nations resort to lies and bluster.
Not being able to defeat and destroy the threat from a 7 times weaker bankrupt "beggar state " enemy which delivered a punch on the nose doesn't look good for a "4 trillion " dollar economy nation led by a Vishwaguru.

Do you want an honest answer?

Yes, it is a weird habit but I almost never insert myself into the affairs of Pakistan or other countries. Almost all of my posts are strictly about India. I have next to no knowledge of Pakistan even though I was on good terms with many Pakistanis in US.

But I would never dare give advice.
Why on a Pakistani forum?
And “almost” is trying to hide from an aspect.
This is a Pakistani forum, they have every right to discuss whatever they want , whenever they on what , on whoever they want. You have zero rights to object or question it.

Have issue? Log off, go rant on an Indian forum on how “Pakistanis always talk about Indian issues”

The gurus believe that general public are stupid so they don't need nor deserve to know. Knowledge is a strict privilege of the few selected not for the masses. They were informed accordingly later via some military men that losses are part of warfare and sacrifices, a way of life for the ordinary. You may need to update your records that there exists no opposition in India, it's just a roleplay exercise.

Operation Sindoor is still ongoing.
