The unelected goons who have siezed power in your country have taken the first steps towards the complete destruction of Bangladesh cricket.

Hopefully Bangladesh will boycott all future ICC tournaments to be held in India. Ofcourse Bilateral tours are out of the question now.

Bangladesh,, and Pakistan are India's enemy countries.
Why do enemy countries have to play cricket?

A bit of history...
India and Pakistan stopped playing cricket anywhere fir 7 years from 1971-1978. The ban on playing cricket ( and all other sports and mutual cultural events ) with Pakistan was initiated by India then ruled by the Congress Party under Indira Gandhi, The ban was revoked only when Shri Morarji Desai's government came to power in 1977 and Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the foreign minister.

As a parallel India has no sporting or cultural ties with another enemy country China

So question to you again Sir.
Why doesn't India ban playing cricket, and also sever all sporting and cultural links with Pakistan? We wouldn't be wasting time writing long messages on this forum,

Deadline was over and they decided not to play in India. ICC board voted on the issue and said BD has to play or forefeit the tournament. They will be replaced by Scotland

Good thing they were given an ultimatum, I think we should vote for suspending them or at least downgrading their status to non test playing if they are dipping from the WC. Put costs as there was probably revenue losses involved.

Encourage you to do this for Pakistan

Bangladesh have reportedly announced their decision to boycott the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, escalating a major cricketing and political standoff after the International Cricket Council (ICC) rejected their request to play matches outside India.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has repeatedly cited security concerns, but the ICC suggested the stance was influenced by “a single, isolated and unrelated development” involving one of Bangladesh’s players in a domestic league — a clear reference to the IPL snub of pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman.

The ICC, however, has firmly rejected Bangladesh’s plea. In a statement, the governing body said that independent security assessments, venue-level security plans and assurances from Indian authorities found no credible threat to the safety of the Bangladesh team. As a result, the ICC confirmed it would not relocate Bangladesh’s four group matches, scheduled to be played in Kolkata and Mumbai, with the tournament set to begin on February 7.

If it's no longer a sporting event on sporting terms, then political shenanigans will happen.

The ICC, dominated by the bcci, dominated by Indian communal mindset has created this

20 years ago this would have been seen as beyond the pale, but we have been desensitized to the politicization of cricket that this seems a logical way for things to go.

This is what happens when an institution that's meant to have a sporting ideal is run by petty communal Indians

Seems to me like England and Australia are happy to just keep the prestige off the ashes, the rest can do as they do
