Won't last long, Kurds have time and time again proven themselves to not only be shit at war but some of the worst globally at it. If there was a list of worst armies on earth the Kurds would probably top it. Without American help the Syrian forces will walk all over them.

Even their KRG was gifted to them by the USA.

Their good at banditry, vandalism, playing the victim, terrorism, drawing fictional maps for a country that never existed. But actual real war, they are terrible.

I don't think there should be an extension, atleast not in Ain Al Arab. Hasakah is more understandable b/c they are transferring prisoners to Iraq from there. But there is no risk of that in Ain Al Arab.

After waiting for a decade, we can hold on for another 10 days, I think. But does this imply that the US will not attack Iran during this 10 day period?

Not sure, is the 10 day request because its really about the prisoners, or they think they can deal with Iran in 10 days? And then still be in position to respond in Syria if they choose.

Honestly I think they should go as soon as it starts there. There will be a complete blackout in Washington, which will be busy with the Iranian affair, and no coverage or pressure on the Syria matter, less interence and pressure to stop of sanctions threats and by the time the shitstorm clears in Washington, it would likely be over in Syria.

Assyrian leader: We want the Syrian army to take control of northeast Syria.

Gabriel Moshe, a high-ranking member of the Assyrian Democratic Organization (ADO), speaking from #Qamishli in northeast Syria, stated on Al Ikhbariya Syrian News channel on Thursday that Assyrians and Christians there want the Syrian army to take full control of the region.

The Assyrian Democratic Organization, founded in 1957, is the main body representing Assyrians in #Syria.

The ADO has repeatedly condemned human rights abuses by the Kurdish #YPG militia against Assyrians, since 2011, including several #Kurdish attempts to close #Assyrian #Christian schools in the region.

If Masoud Barzani continues to embrace the Kurdistan Workers' Party, I wouldn't be surprised if Erbil becomes a target for Turkey, because Turkey will pursue them until the last communist among them.

And opening the borders of northern Iraq to them and sending people to join them will harm Barzani.
