A few won't hurt if they can out-range us. Also, if it is a clip-on system, it can be added to rocket artillery (not easily and limited to a few systems) and beyond, like an A2A missile! or am i thinking too much?Ramjet tech. has existed since 1950s, there is a reason developed countries paid no need towards marriage of artillery shells and ramjet engine

I don't know but we use solid-fuel ramjets in some of our missiles, like Astra Mk-3 (SFDR).@Michael
Is that interesting? I think the bleed valve increases the range by a similar number. However, a ramjet requires liquid fuel! only?
So what can be possible handling and storage problems in the field?
@CallSignMaverick
Gives a compact solution to hit farther with little form factor.I dont see great potential in this project
if anything, this will make drone tech. development faster
tech. is a curse sometimes
After all, there are already accurate rockets that can cover the same distance with higher accuracy
whats the point in inventing the wheel twice!

Not all ramjet engines use liquid fuel. There are also ramjet engines that use solid fuel. For example, the engine of the Meteor air-to-air missile uses a solid-fuel ramjet.@Michael

Many are working on ramjet arty shells worldwide.
Small size of the munition over a heavy rocket to reach same range.sorry, what is a 'form factor', could you explain?

Base Bleed Increases the range by 25-30 % whereas this Ramjet Module increase the range by over 50 %I think the bleed valve increases the range by a similar number.
50% is conservative, ranges are almost doubling. Meaning Indian Army won't have to mobilise rocket artillery systems to LoC and can use existing howitzers deployed at LoC to hit as far as outskirts of Islamabad/Rawalpindi or areas in Sialkot and Gujranwala. Pakistan Army with ramjet shells can reach Srinagar.so, you mean body of a rocket and head of a ramjet artillery shell.
(in other words, extended range rocket artillery)
given the extended range is 30 to 50% (and this means accuracy is lost as well!)
I dont see any point, in doing that either, when, at the same cost air superiority can be established!
although, Im not a military specialist nor i am a artillery specialist
Im only trying to make economical sense out of this!
