It's very important BNP continues the IG policy of keeping AL at the bay, good for both Bangladesh and BNP itself. The fact that the election was largely free of violence was mainly because there was no AL.

Keeping BAL banned will ensure BNP can stay in power. Given how close this election result was in terms of total vote %, despite the seat differences - BNP sure made a note of it. About 50 seats Jamaat lost only by about 5000 votes, which they are now requesting recount through appeal.

Unbanning BAL would be shooting themselves in foot, it will split the vote base and may see Jamaat get a lead. For BNP's own self interest, they need to keep BAL banned.

Win win for everyone.

Hehe

Your fake democracy mask has fallen publicly now!

If BNP cannot bring back jobs and GDP growth - they are toast.

Hasina was overthrown by a few hundred thousand “students” in a country of over 175 million.

If BNP cannot bring back jobs - a lot more will be baying for their blood.

You and your buds have been so wrong about Bangladesh - you should be ashamed to make any comments.

Since when Awami "Bakshal" believed in democracy? It has fascism in its roots, and has been rightfully banned. No place for fascists in a democracy. Not that you would understand.

You keep shamelessly shilling for Hindutva and Hasina, let us worry about Bangladesh.

Now that I have finally been unbanned I didn't get the opportunity to gloat at the severe drubbing that the Jamaat-e-Islami got in the national elections. Many of the Jamaati idiots on this forum must be feeling foolish right now, especially those that predicted a landslide victory for the JeI. The sheer over-confidence and arrogance of these bloody Jamaatis. Their deceit, duplicity, abuse and manipulation backfired on them spectacularly ...

BNP, Jamaat, NCP can all agree that it is in their best interest to keep AL away from Bangladesh as far as possible. Most importantly AL is now clearly a threat to Bangladesh's national security.

Salahuddin mentioned about AL's trial as a party and they should get it done quickly. Some regional AL leaders might get rehabilitated, especially since local government elections don't require party affiliations. These people will eventually be absorbed into BNP/Jamaat/NCP depending on the regions they operate in, along with their voter base. Even in Gopalganj, there was around 40-45% turn out in the general elections this year, so the process has already started.

Best interests have nothing to do with it. TR was only allowed to return to Bangladesh by India and the Army on certain conditions, one of which was to rehabilitate the AL and release some of its leaders. The Americans had different conditions which likely included not prosecuting Advisors or officials in the Interim Government for corruption or abuse of power and also to see through the implementation of trade and military agreements including some secret ones. There is every likelihood of the AL making a comeback during this BNP administration.

Exactly. And fascist supporters and their hindustani masters couldn't do anything about it, not even a mass physical gathering except barking online. 😂
.
Barking dogs seldom bite... 😜

Only fascist party in BD is Jamat. And it will be banned again.

You lot only get 2-3 years to gloat then get boxed.

Enjoy your day out lol

It won’t last.

Keep crying for Fascist Hasina to come back. Not happening. Even if BAL comes back because of Hindutva pressure, it will not have Hasu Apa in there.

I only care about Bangladesh. Not any specific party. You labeling me as such doesn't change the fact.

You on the other hand are an unpaid Hindutva agent propagating Hindutva position and defending Hindutva puppets.

Every BD member here knows more about Bangladesh than you delusional UK Sylheti brigade.

That claim is about as plausible as gravity on the moon.

My election prediction was spot on.

You and your buds got it horribly wrong!

Your comical Ali type propaganda will haunt you forever 🤣
