One of the reasons Israel is so eager to attack now is that they don't have time to allow Iran to address it's issues

If they give iran let's say 5 years, all the means is that Iran will address it's A.D issues, possibly build it's airforce up and build thousands of missiles having learnt the lessons of the 12 day war

Internal situation aside, the more they leave Iran the more stronger militarily it will become, it will also give Iran time to reach out to China and Russia and build rapport and obtain support

It's still not too late.

As an example, if this war starts next year, then Iran would have given USA more time to accumulate more mass-produced copycat versions of their own Shahed drones like the LUCAS, which US would definitely use to fire thousands of them on Iranian targets as a low-cost alternative to the much pricier Tomahawks and stealth PGMs.

Fighting this war now means Iran doesn't have to face thousands upon thousands of a "taste of its own medicine" right now when the US still hasn't scaled up LUCAS production to accumulate to more than 10,000(which would be a grave threat to Iran if used in any opening salvo if paired with AI, since these can loiter over the area before plummetting).

Now Iran only has to face a few hundreds upon hundreds of Tomahawks and PGMs that cost more for the US to produce, thus opening up a huge gap with them not able to replace with more, because China looks set to cut off Rare Earths that can be used to make those PGMs and missiles. Even some parts of F-35s require Rare Earths...

Now Iran can reasonably saturate all US bases in the region without having to face huge saturation attack from Low-Cost Attack Missiles/Drones from its adversaries now, so this war is better fought now than a year later, IMHO.
