first attack on US navy ship


A Mobile Ship Target (like MST 2301 pictured below) is a ship used for target practice..if that is what the Iranian military are shooting at then they have been duped. The US likely left it in the open intentionally to draw fire as a false target for Iran to waste their weapons on.

The MST will be used as a target for missile testing and training purposes, providing essential data and enhancing the Navy's defense capabilities.

As I always said the S-300 order was far too small for a country the size of Iran and the density level required to achieve protection from strong Air Force’s of Israel and U.S too inadequate

Yet Iran’s leadership for years refused to buy S-400 or other established long range air defense systems and instead pocketed the money and launched “domestic” variants that were ultimately never produced.
