China has the choice of Taiwan or continue to dominate in trade. If this war lasts a while China can start a diversion and take Taiwan.

Though more importantly, Iran must reserve the right to attack months and years down the road. If the US re-occupies bases nearby, Iran could strike then. Iran can close the Straits in September if it wants to. No more Iran is done with retaliations. That is what invited this strike. If the US and Israel know that more demands on Iran after the June war and more threats to Iran would not be followed with Iranian strikes before the US moves their assets fully for an attack, it invites the US to attack and get their pieces on the map while Iran has to wait and Iran can only hit after being hit. Iran has to deal with this as a continuing war, not one where Iran strikes back and then says peace is here.

Iran has to walk back their peace with trump in June, and say there is an ongoing war until the US surrenders and stops their threats on Iran and allows the Iranian economy to reach full potential. Then you have the full support of the Patriots of Iran.
