Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

IRGC tell ships passage through Strait of Hormuz ‘not allowed’: EU naval mission official

An official from the European Union’s naval mission Aspides has said that vessels have been receiving VHF transmission from Iran’s Revolutionary Guards saying “no ship is allowed to pass the Strait of Hormuz”, Reuters reports.

The strait is the world’s most vital oil export route, which connects the biggest Gulf oil producers, such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq and the United Arab Emirates, with the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea.

The official, who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity, said Iran had not formally confirmed any such order. Tehran has for years threatened to block the narrow waterway in retaliation for any attack on the Islamic Republic.

Too bad I guess.

Oil prices will likely skyrocket to over $100 per barrel as the markets open. This is a economic strategic move by Iran if they're able to truly shut down and close the strait of Hormuz. The economic pressure on the global financial system will be so extreme that the West will be forced to negotiate with Iran. Iran has to shut it down cause deep economic consequence to the global economy. Only then can this deescalate. There has to be a shock.
This has been my one and only strategic idea on this forum, nothing else matters.

A little disturbing to watch but hopefully Iran has contingency plans for such situations considering they have underground missile bases.

Residents flee as Iran missiles stun peaceful Gulf cities

A barrage of Iranian strikes has caused havoc across the Gulf, shattering the aura of peace so highly prized by the oil-rich region’s wealthy rulers, AFP reports.

Missiles streaked across clear desert skies as smoke plumed from US bases in Manama and Abu Dhabi and loud thuds shook high-rise windows in Dubai.

In Qatar, dozens of people fled in panic as a falling missile plunged into a residential neighbourhood, erupting in a fireball as it hit the street.

And in UAE’s Abu Dhabi, golfers enjoying a quiet round were stunned to see dozens of projectiles flying overhead.

Given their reputation for calm, today’s sudden attacks on US military bases caused widespread shock among the Gulf’s diverse, expat-heavy populations.

In Dubai, residents looked up to see missiles surge through the sky.

“It was a rumble and then a bang,” one resident told AFP, asking not to be named.

I hope Iran is careful to not kill Iranians working in Dubai/Abu Dhabi

Apparently this is Syria.

Wrong!!
Again, commentary from someone who doesn't understand the oil market, or its trade. Self sufficiency is all but a small hedges against rising oil and gas prices. Why? Because those producers will sell their products at current market prices.....that is dictated by international prices and markets. Not inside the US.
That's why this is happening people dont know anything to including the iranians

USA is the largest producer of oil in the world and its surrounded by two other kargest producer of oils

Iran cant maintain air protection if it can secure its air it cant launch missiles soon it will run out of people who can fire and fuel these

This is 101. Usa prepared for this for over a year after last time it went around this op

It secured Venezuela for this reason

Yes usa oil follows international market but executive actions can limit that
(Like previously a ban on exports)
Currently its game over for Iran they didnt learn from north korea who didnt sold us out when we gave them the designs..iran did.

Shahed suicide drones use 4 GPS/GLONASS receivers. If they are jamming the airspace than the drone’s internal navigation becomes inaccurate and cannot navigate to its pre determined path.

but do they still dive? and what about inertial systems

"Peaceful"?

Housing US warmongering bases housing E-3 offensive awacs and fighter jets? And claiming to have ownership of Iranian islands? This is peaceful?
