Then what's the point of Iran investing so much in this group? A waste of money and resources that could be better spent on building up a capable Iranian Air Force instead of these useless proxies that can't be counted on as war assets...

Iran didn’t invest in hezbollah to protect Iran. Iran invested in hezbollah so they can protect themselves against Israel. Iran can’t force them to do anything

Saudi Arabia and the Sunni nations will be secretly happy that the West is attacking Iran.

Not making this a sectarian fight. But you think the Saudis will care about Iran being attacked by the West?
