GCC isn't going to pick fights. They're too small if we're excluding Saudi Arabia and have to rely on proxies. Even Iran relies on proxies heavily. GCC is strong enough to do airstrikes on Iran. They're not defenseless. And contrary to what people think, Arabs aren't that afraid of war or explosions going off here and there. That includes GCC Arabs.

GCC however have precise economic and development related goals they want to achieve. And want to provide security. So in sense you're right US relationship from security POV is still net positive for them.

However the lack of organized strikes on Israel thus far tonight may show diminished capability for more organized complex military operations. Supposedly there were two bunkers at the compound and they Khamenai was not in the deepest one that was out of reach of Israeli bunker busters.

It’s clear that Israeli F-35’s armed with bunker busters likely did the same type of attack on Khamenai’s bunker they did on Nasrallah’s.
