Arabs need to be careful. Don't align yourself with Israel. We all get Syria and lambasted Iran over Syria. If Syrians and other Arabs want to see what's happening over past two years as karma for Hezbollah, Iranian AoR, then so be it.

But if your nations are being used as launching platform for attacks. And you join Israel with strikes on Iran, then you are sussing people out.

Be careful of US and Israel dragging you into war. If it gets worse, it's better to publicly disavow Israel and the US and call them out publicly for starting this, and demand Israel bear the fallout.

This is a difficult situation for Arabs I understand, but Iranians may have momentum over some days. And sooner or later you will need to make your position clear. Which includes expressing frustration with the US over its policy of trying to bring about greater Israel.

See the thing is, the West tries to woo the Sunni states.

But the thing is, most people do not know everything about the Sunni/Shia split.

That is why the West allies with Saudi Arabia over Iran.

I think Iran attacking US military facilities in the region is fully justified. Having hostile US facilities in the region against Iran is just inviting trouble.

The US originally got those facilities to protect them against Saddam Hussain's Iraq but after toppling Saddam Hussain, instead of leaving the region, the US decided to target Iran.

It's like Russia opposing NATO expansion on its border. Iran also has the right to remove the threat on its border.

Then again, it's up to Iran to provide guarantees to the Gulf Arab countries that it won't seek regime changes or interfere in their internal matters.

Not good for iran economy, Iran has big trade with UAE around 24B annually. GCC will most likely downgrade relations with Iran if the regime survives. Don't forget 11M workers are in Uae Qatar Bahrain and Kuwait so those nations will also be unhappy.

That's the point. The Iranian government does not expect to survive. They are making a last stand in this war. Who will question them once they are gone? But it will highlight the value the US gives to the GCC over Israel....those are the question that come about afterwards.

Guys I don't buy this. When America takes a base in a country the deal is that the base is American territory.

Recently when Trump was talking about taking Greenland the way that the nato sec gen seemed to be appeasing him was stating that the American bases in Greenland were tantamount to American Territory

An example of this “sovereign base area” agreement in Cyprus, where Britain’s military bases are regarded as British territory.

So my point is an attack on these bases in Arab countries should be taken as an attack on America

In any event these treacherous Arab nations were warned in advance that if Iran was attacked Iran would hit these bases. They should have told their ally Anerica/Israel not to attack Iran
