MAC is meaningless what is tracked is the IMEI - You can spoof a MAC or rather MACs become meaningless if you use an AP as the presentation header is always from the AP - so in this case if your Technospark SmartPhone connected to a Draytek router - the presenting MAC table would only be internally visible on the MAC table of the Draytek - what would be presented at the ISP level or end point would be the details of the Draytek:



So rather than attempt this rudimentary attack strategy to use Wifi ACK Attacks, ARP Spoofing or MAC Spoofing - the Israeli's are able to access the speakerphone, webcam, GPS sensor and accelerometer on most cheap android phones with an unremovable bit of bloatware/malware known as App Cloud App Manager:
