So the US & Israel hit the compound after they were "in talks". So that the important people wouldn't be protected or move to shelters. And things would seem like they are being handled diplomatically.

Kind of smart, but at the same time dirty tactics. I can bet alot of these riots are paid actors by the CIA&Mossad. They want Iran completely neutered.

They wouldn't have known whether or not he was alive or not since they had to clear the rubble but they would've at least known that Israel and US are going for the kill shot and hence why they've reacted with a lot more intensity compared to the 12 day war initially

The whole reason strikes even happened in the morning was because the mole inside Iran told them he is unprotected in the compound having a meeting with top brass.

That’s is why Israel and U.S. attacked.

This whole time they were waiting for an opportunity for Iranian officials to congregate (no matter the time) and Iran gave it to them on a silver platter.

Iran simply didn’t expect the initial strike to happen in the morning or go after Khamenai.

You cannot do that with an ALBM or a CM. The entire compound area was under heavy EW jamming so you would have expected a ton of collateral damage if they use stand off assets (due to accuracy loss).

Those were dropped by fighter jets in Tehran province.

It wouldn’t surprise me. Our AD was pretty much non existent.

Khamenei and crew was killed by over a dozen Tomahawks. They didn't want to alert them since Iranian operatives were likely staking out airbases looking for a massive fighter takeoff and in broad daylight it would have given the surprise away.

I suspect it has more to do with electronic intelligence than Human intelligence.
I suspect the phones of all Iranian top leaderships were bugged, or it could be any other transmitting device, such as wireless earbuds. If the MAC address is knowwn, that device unique MAC address can be tracked. There may be other ways to do the same @JamD @Oscar
