yes..Very harsh terrain. 3000 -5000 meters.
Pakistan cannot occupy it. No infra. And supplies cannot be airlifted for very long. Pakistan should try to buy the strip though.
May be some land incursions, supported by air, and eventual settlement with Afghan govt to purchase it as a broader agreement, quid pro quo.

they dont cite anything , they just say afghan goverment said --- but they know what they are doing .I am actually surprised by this news, because Guardian news is generally quite credible and that's why I follow it. But what's the evidence behind it and what sources did they cite is questionable.

There are lots of Chinese drones and heavy lift QC now a days . Wonder why it can't be used in supplying stuff to forward positions. We should be switching to drones in every aspect of war.Very harsh terrain. 3000 -5000 meters.
