It is safe to say that IRGC and particularly IRGCASF is now totally controlling the escalation ladder. Trump wanted a quick victory but they are not letting him escape.

So if india used nukes on Pakistan then since India was in the past Islamic land then cant Pakistan use nukes on India in return? Also more muslims living in india will be effected from a nuclear bomb than a dirty bomb which only contaminates the area making it unlivable.
If nukes are used against Iran then western isreal is a valid dirty bomb target.
Holy sites wont be effected. Only western areas would be enough for deterrence. The aim is no nukes are used by usa and isr with their rising casualties and not to use them initially by Iran ofcourse.

Just like Iraq. Iraq has lots of oil, it has had "free and fair elections" (read: a government elected to suite American interest) for years, but it is still in turmoil.
Iranian people are quite different people compared to Arab Iraqi. They seem to be much more proud people. In addition, their number is large. I do not think they will accept a government which is forced upon them by the West (of course, via "free and fair election), and prolonged civil wars may entail.
