At least one layer of ad is active and can cope with medium altitude drones. Passive undetecteable Tv-IIR guidance can be improved more after the war. This approach seems successful(even under enemy air dominance) and can be improved to cover lower-medium ad layer. A slightly improved version can even threaten aircraft at 10-12km altitudes.

What is needed is a medium-high altitude ad layer against fighter jets. We discussed many things in other sections like passive radar as early warning and then use cheaper a2a equipped drones that can fly at least at 10km altitudes to intercept the planes in numbers. There can be many other solutions as well like shoot scoot tactics used bu Ukranians.
