Nah - no need to speculate for no reason.
Iran is in a bad way because mathematically it is facing well funded and well trained threats - no two ways to look at what the US and IDF-AF are.

It has still admirably penetrated the billion dollar nets purchased by the GCC for just this day and Israel’s as well. But it has no answer for mass overwhelmingly superior air power.

But it also has a “home neighborhood ” advantage in that it knows its region better than the Americans and despite the Israelis masterful infiltration of every elite and political class from Iraq to Yemen - there are just more Iranian migrants and links with Iran for arab populations then it will ever be for the eastern europeans in Israel.

That means it can just like the ten year war grind it out with many dead - but eventually exhaust those who are not working within their “home environment”
