I must point out that this is not "embarrassing" for India, even if it occurred in Indian waters.

Why would India have any inclination or motivation to obstruct USN actions against Iranian vessels, never mind the wherewithal to do so?

Strikes taking place in Indian waters against Iran would probably have Delhi's tacit approval, if not their passive acquiescence.

The US will protect the GCC nations whether or not they pay. Your first mistake is that you see GCC at the same lens as Afghanistan and Ukraine.......And your second mistake is that you think there is a ceiling number on US support to Israel. I know enough to know they will stop at nothing to protect Israel at all costs, and I mean AT ALL COST, if you are looking for the "bills", you have a long time to wait, because as much as a insignifcant Afgahnistan, we call it quits after 20 TRILLIONS dollars and 20 years, and you are talking about Israel.

Wrong again. You´re hiding a contradiction. If US will protect Israel at ANY cost (I agree with you on it) they cannot protect at all cost GCC.

They will protect GCC by the means they can pay the bill.

As a European I can tell you. Even Poland is purchasing non US armament because US saw how expensive would be helping europeans against Russia.

Even you´re seeing how Trump is trying to move as much as chip based production from Taiwan to US.

Because it is true that Israel it is their cancerous ally they have been painstically selling the rest of their allies to protect their beloved tumor.

Then the only way I see this war ending is with a possible Nuclear Escalation.

Israel is not willing to end this war without regime change or without the structure of the Iranian state defanged and splintered much into a possible chaotic civil war-like state, and IRGC wants to preserve as much of this structure as possible as this is an existential fight for them.

Therefore, if Israel doesn't back down, I foresee IRGC racing to get the BOMB somewhere and test one of it, threatening to use it if they don't end the war and ceasefire. Here is a chance for Israel not to make a mistake and accept Iran as a Nuclear Power, because if they're stubborn and make a First Strike against Iran, IRGC won't hesitate to retaliate with the same weapons.
Huh?

Where would they get "the bomb" from? Fairy Godmother or Aladdin? Most of the latest news on the Iranian enrichment program is that they are at 80% ish by the last IAEA report, you need 90 to make anything useful, and for a country like Japan, it took them 5 years to go from 80 to 90, and that's a highly advanced nation without a war hindering their progress.

And you do know Israel had nukes, right? And they just killed Khemeni, do you not think they will know if Iran is about to reach that capability? If this is the case, IDF WILL nuke Iran before they finish the bomb. And if it is still Trump, they can probably do it without any consequence.

@Ali_Baba hahahha you can't make this up

Analysis: HMS Dragon delay is embarrassing and will turn into big political issue
The delay in deploying HMS Dragon "doesn't look good" and is embarrassing, military analyst Michael Clarke says.

It's not so serious militarily, he says, but the fallout domestically is the issue and "the appearance that the British Navy has got nothing to offer is not great".

The fact that there are no Navy ships in the Mediterranean for the first time since the Battle of the Nile in 1799 exemplifies this, he says.

Although the Navy would argue that its presence is felt in "different ways", including intelligence, robots and having excellent Royal Marines, Clarke says, "nothing beats a ship for presence and for the ability to actually bring weapons... when you really need them".

Clarke predicts: "This is going to be a big political issue within Britain."

Dude, think about it for a second, how is the US protecting Israel if GCC is not in the picture? Setting aside whether GCC will be neutral toward Israel (that's the best-case scenario), you can't protect Israel unless at least Qatar and Bahrain are on the US side, since most of the threats are inland or across the Red Sea. Saudi Arabia and Iraq may be wild cards, but it would not be much of an issue.

And Taiwan is a different case, because it is EXTREMELY close to China, and there are virtually no assets that the US can reach Taiwan before China gets to it first.

And I don't see how Poland buying French helicopters and Korean tanks has anything to do with this, expensive or not, they did already bought a lot of US stuff, haveing US or Non-US arms have nothing to do with getting US to help you in case you are invaded by Russia.
