Strawman argument. I never said Iran is dictating them. GCC is not sovereign. They know very well that the day they want American bases out is the day they will get regime changed. Those bases has become a liability, and the best way to get rid of them is to outsource it to Iran. Just a theory.

I think Trump needs France to pressure the Lebanese govt, so they can put pressure on Hezbollah to stop attacking "Israel". The entry of Hezbollah into the war has really put the Israel under enormous pressure, and the French is perhaps needed to assist the weak Lebanese army against Hezbollah.

I posted a video of Laith Marouf yesterday. In that he said the Lebanese Army has left southern Lebanon and crossed the Litani River out of south Lebanon in last few days. And the L. Army has instructions from the PM of Lebanon to stop Hezbollah from operating south of the Litani River but if they dare try that then the Lebanese Army, to quote Laith, 'would be stripped to their underwear and made videos of to share with the world. They did this before but failed. Ottomans joined Germany in WW1 but lost, Egypt Syria Iraq fought Israel a few times but lost due to Usa backing Israel and rearming them. Muslim states should have made alliances and worked together during peace times but we're always divided. Some are pro Israel and Usa, some in Nato, some pro Russia and some pro China. Iran is in Russian camp, and close to India and both of them are looking the other way.
