Iran confirms second warship moving towards Sri Lanka’s waters​

A second Iranian warship is heading towards Sri Lanka’s territorial waters, the same area where a US submarine destroyed an Iranian frigate yesterday.

Sri Lanka’s media minister Nalinda Jayatissa said the warship, reported to be carrying more than 100 crew, is just outside Sri Lankan waters.

The statement comes after Sri Lanka’s cabinet ‌spokesperson said the country is trying to “safeguard ⁠lives” of an ⁠Iranian ship off its coast.

On Wednesday, a US submarine sank an Iranian warship with a torpedo in international waters off Sri Lanka’s coast.

But no matter how fast the sub is, what was it's previous location? The fact that it was near Sri Lanka at the time the frigate would traverse those waters is very suspicious. Why would be a seawolf class sub be near Sri Lankan water?

I don't think you understand how subs operate. A sub is vulnerable and never operates alone - it operates alongside a strike group.

It wasn't near Sri Lankan waters it was in INTERNATIONAL waters. Iran is at open war with the US, you don't think they would be tracking Iranian assets?

We know what the jews think of ceasefires, so what good is a unilateral ceasefire? It won't save civilians or infrastructure. And then the country will just continue to languish under sanctions.
I don't think there is a choice here other than to start targeting energy infrastructure anywhere we can. The only other road I see here is self regime change and willingly installing a jew puppet government.

Expectation : Russia and China has supplied Iran with many new air defense systems including counter-stealth radars and even some AWACS, J-10s and Su-35s, allowing Iran to easily detect and engage enemy planes

Actual Reality : The same old shitz of Iran not being able to do anything against Israeli Air Power. This is the same old script since the Arab-Israeli Wars when it was the Sunni's shot at defeating Israel before they all lost many times due to not having Air Superiority and then giving up to now pass the baton to Shiites. I read back in Arab-Israeli Wars about how all Muslim lost in Air Power so easily to the Zionists.

Solution : I'm born Muslim, so naturally I want my side to become the winning team. It's for my self-esteem and self-confidence that I want IRAN to win here because I've been exposed to Anti-Islam content everyday on X from both Westerners and Japs, so I have been feeling down for a long time. Come one man, somebody needs to hand us Muslims a big victory just like the good old times of Saladin and Sultan Mehmet. So who's going to grant Iran this victory?
They should have negotiated better than to boast about winning wars when the results so far are not what I expected it to be with not much enemy planes shot down.

I said near Sri Lankan waters, not in Sri Lankan waters. Was the sub near those waters before or it was far away somewhere else? The Indians knew when the frigate would leave and informed US to move the sub from "somewhere else" closer to the possible route of the frigate.
