The other target was a terminal of airport. No military target.

Is that why US first sent Ukraine to fight Russia instead of fighting Russia directly, and after US got a chance to fight Russia directly (after Ukraine proved unable to defeat Russia ), US chose to fight Iran instead with Israel? Its easy to say Russians are weak but no one has beaten them yet, so relax.

russian is far behind now.. what happend on afghanistan USSR war? they were beaten? and when they had the chance of doing the same to USA in afghanistan they failed? All my life i heard western fighters jet shot down russian junks with almost zero casualty for themselves.. and about no one has beaten them yet completely then russia have nuclear and good missiles technology, with which no would take a risk but otherwise russian technology is far behind and they have always let down their alleys.. they even couldnt until now conquered ukraine which is on their border.. they still dont have the complete air superiority over ukraine until now?

I think majority of people think this way. Everyone uses their ideology to determine what they say is good and evil and allot friends and foe accordingly.

Trumpy has many religious nut jobs in his admin using religion to define their good and evil. One could argue this also influences geopolitics.

It is simplistic to portray nations like some Star Trek Borgs: Nations and their leaders are living, breathing human beings with their biases, indoctrinations, and thus their policies.
In Obama Admin, a lot of time and energy was spent by America for a JCPOA and that was partly because of the American desire to 'pivot' to 'Indo Pacific' and partly driven by Obama's own anti-war cadre when it came to the Middle East.
Then comes Trump, with his personal biases, and his Messianic cadre with the Armageddon seeking views and the JCPOA was rubbished in no time, undoing years of hard work.
So be careful of those who lazily do the whataboutism in every post they make in this forum which really amount to 'water is wet' by saying 'it is up to them' like posts but occasionally they betray themselves.

Impossible without a physical blockade.

At 96km wide, Iran has sufficient level of systems that can impose a blockade without a needing a navy. How many ship captains will want to run the risk of being fired at, even if Trump "honours" his insurance requests and there is some USN ship as an escort.
