No one but the UK MOD to blame. The UK MOD gets a lot of money, the issue is NOT lack of money, it is what the UK MOD does with that money, and the way they insist on creating tiny fleets of ultra-high tech platforms rather than middle of the road platforms that they can purchase in bulk that also offer enough military capability.

More money will not fix the issue, the UK MOD needs to be reformed totally with a focus on procurement efficiency and not "pet" protects for people to work on and never get anywhere because they spent all the money on R&D and have nothing left over to buy other than 3 units of anything ....

Regardless of the public rhetoric by both sides, rest assured that both sides will continue to find a workable solution behind the scenes. Let us hope they are able to deliver.

I hope it they ever did get peace, there is a clause with a guarantee that should Israel and USA attack again. The guarantor (China or Russia) will be involved in the war if it occurs again. This is the only way to deter, or it is just going to restart back in 2027.
