US have flirted with the idea of taking Chinas role as the worlds leading manufacturing hub. But they need AI for that, and AI needs energy.

If US wins this war, they will essentially control all energy points in the world. The only independent country left that could sell oil to China would be Russia. I’m sure the Americans could easily pull Russia away from China in the future, either with carrot or stick.

Azerbaijan going to attack Iran.

INTIALLY Israel/US tried to balkanize iran using the Kurds. That failed/postponed. Now they want to use Azerbaijan and the Azeri population to stow discord inside Iran.

We are probably similar already in terms of quality of drones and missiles, plus we have an excellent air force.

I would think that Iran has certain terrain advantages that has helped them hide assets, shoot/scoot, and entrench themselves when necessary. Perhaps we also need to look at that side of things and also things like national service and air raid shelters.
