The idea that even hypothetically, let’s say there are "perfect conditions", that Azerbaijan could get away with some kind of land grab is ridiculous. There are many reasons. Real life is not some kind of paradox interactive game.

Equally, Iran is a far more formidable force than many yahoos on the other side realize. It is a proud, ancient and fiercely independent country battle hardened by decades of experience with conflict.

This war is still anybody's guess as to the outcomes.

My opinion is Pak maybe got an agreement with Iran to stop attacks on Saudi in exchange for Pak remaining neutral

I think the Iranians are signaling to the gulf Nations that you guys should apply pressure on the Americans to end this, and that this proposal is a opportunity to reduce American influence yourselves


If the Arab Nations decide that they still want to go with u.s protection that then becomes a clear validation from Iran's perspective


How much have the Arabs voiced on us protection umbrella and a US Israeli war where Arabs suffer? How much do they really mean to reduce American influence.


In this scenario I think Pakistan is acting as the messenger with the cover of the military alliance

have always hated the part Saudis have played. Saudis knew the attack on Iran was coming as they and Israel pushed stupid orange conman into war so Saudis signed the defence pact with Pakistan to take Pakistan out from supporting Iran. Never ever trust dirty camel jockeys ifrom Saudi

That’s giving the Pak junta too much credit.

If Pakistan attacked Iran - that would be the final nail in Pakistani unity.

Iranians would never forget it and ensure Baluch and Afghans are armed to the teeth.

It’s obvious that Saudi Arabia doesn’t want to destroy itself for USA and Israel.

Has reached out to Iran and promised to not accommodate the US. Might have even promised help with rebuilding infrastructure.

anybody noticed, on the zios side..

when alarms gets activated and when probable targets are shown on the map, they are usually so close, that, Iron Dome, cant function without very early detection!

seems functionality of AD is directly related to early detection

result of this is, system miscalculates and:

1. fires many interceptors
2. these interceptors take time and move around in the sky
3. as target approaches, many of them miss the target

BTW, early detection assumes, missile is fired from a large distance!

If Trump orders an amphibious operation to land and invade at Kharg Island or any part of Iran's southern coasts that'd be the stupidest mistake he'll make. Once USN ships comes within 100-200 nautical miles range from Iran's coasts, they'll be exposed to so many anti-ship missiles and drones that many US ships will sink including the amphibious assault ship carrying hundreds of troops.

It'll be a big fiasco in the USN history if Trump orders something like this.
