Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

The real test of manliness would be to stop it forcefully instead of “asking” Mr Trump please stawwp.
But then we might have different definitions of manliness.

Ofcourse! But I wanted to remain realistic in my comment. This is the minimum they should be doing. War is only destroying middleeast, Iran and indirectly countries like Pakistan are going to be effected a lot.

Because they chose development over confrontation with neighbours? Perhaps they have seen plenty of nations trying that and being unsuccessful.
Much of history has proven proxy wars to be highly successful. If you look at my country, it got broken into 2 by such a process as well.
They are guilty of sin and provide US and Israel airbase to hit Iran.
So they thought having US as a security provider as better alternative to proxy warfare?
Minorities (Kurds, Arabs, Baluch) exist but are fragmented and isolated through geography. So, there is no large, unified group that Arab states can easily mobilize.

Iran’s geography helps prevent proxy building. Mountains in the west (Zagros). Deserts in central Iran. Strong border control.

So Arab Monarchies rely on economic influence and relationships with USA and covert relationship with Israel to get their dirty business done.

In short, they dont have the capability and means to do it themselves.
True and Iranian government clamps down on dissent rather violently. Apart from the US presence, there's no threat to Iran from any of her neighbours but all neighbours face direct threat from Iran, agree?
People on PDF use "ferment" far too frequently instead of the intended "foment ". Makes me wonder.
What would be correct? I didn't mean to upset Oxford with it.

This is a U.S. colony, they cannot choose otherwise.
I've been studying there 21-22 years ago, U.S. marines were roaming freely in the country and one-third of teachers in my university were Americans.

A wakeup call to all countries being protected by United States of America….

I read reports that Iran has stopped the closure of Hormuz Strait and only targets US and Israeli-linked ships. If this is true, Iran's leverage to keep oil prices high seems somewhat diminished?

Apart from the US presence, there's no threat to Iran from any of her neighbours but all neighbours face direct threat from Iran, agree?
Do we face a direct threat in Pakistan from Iran? Apart from the Baloch issue, no, and I always have been critical of Iran over this.

Wasn't there a missile/air strike between Iran and Pakistan some time back? I think the relations are somewhat less than cordial. If things go bad for Saudi Arabia, Pakistan is treaty bound to help KSA.

I believe there were the 'rogue' elements in Iran which launched the missiles into Pakistan and the next day Pakistan retaliated in an arranged tit for tat. Iran is not an integrated security state like Pakistan has. The two countries' threat perceptions are very different due to their geography and geopolitics and thus have evolved differently. No Pakistani has ever not noticed where the real threat lies: To Pakistan's east--in India.

Having said that, I believe the Iran-Pakistan relations are almost back to the Shah of Iran era. You may want to follow the American analyst Patrick Henningsen, who seems connected with the Iran establishment, to understand Pakistan-Iran relations, which are kept on low key.

As to what Pakistan will do in this conflict, it would hugely surprise me if Pakistan gets sucked majorly on Saudi Arabia's side due to that agreement. The language of that agreement doesn't automatically make Pakistan to launch missiles on Iran. At most, air defenses for Saudi Arabia but even that's a long shot. Iranians, Saudis, Turks, and Pakistanis really know it is Israel who is the ultimate enemy.

Iranian crisis becomes embarrassment for US military that can’t protect anyone – MidEast analyst

“The US has embarrassed itself in front of the entire world. Everybody now knows that the Americans are no protectors,” says Middle East affairs expert Mais Kurbanov.

“They used to mock Russia when Ukraine scored some hits, acting as if they are invincible. Now Iran keeps pummeling them, and US ships have to flee two thousand kilometers into the ocean to escape Iranian missiles.”

Angry American:
"Look, you fat f*ck Trump — if you listen to this, you listen good!"

"I got Trump Derangement Syndrome. I hate the motherf*cker! And you know what? I don't want to get rid of it. I don't want to get better! I want to get WORSE! I want to hate him MORE!"

"I pray to God in heaven: God, reign the righteous reign of Trump Derangement Syndrome on me. Pray for me, Lord. I'm your vessel on this earth."

"Pray for the people that listen to this. We want MORE! We want to HATE the son of a b*tch so much that we can't see straight!"

Conclusion?

China has probably never had a better chance of attacking Taiwain succesfully than now:

1. No US carriers are available in south China sea area.

What? Why do you think we are short of carriers?

ussGeorgeWashington.png
The USS George Washington is near Japan.

That's only the ones deployed.

The U.S. Navy’s doctrine assumes:
  • 2–4 carriers deployed normally
  • 1–3 carriers in workups / training
  • 2–3 carriers in overhaul or stand-down
We have others not deployed sitting at docks waiting...like the USS Carl Vinson and USS Theodore Roosevelt.

2. US Ammunition and interceptor levels are low and non existent(at worst soon).

The US Navy has nearby re-arming bases at Diego Garcia and Crete.

1. Thank you for reminding our secular Indian guests that proxy war via terrorist groups is a habit mastered by Delhi, lest they should lecture others on it.

2. "Ferment" refers to a chemical process by which your whisky gets produced. "Foment" is the word you Cambridge types were looking for.
