Not really 24/7, VLAP shells are not cheap can only really be used on important targets like headquarters or logistics centers, forces would need to advance atleast 25KMs inside Afghanistan to utilize normal shells from SH-15s, and that might way more too much then GHQ wants to chew, although Khost can be hit by normal shells from well inside our own territory.
