Understood, but if Israel is pulling the strings it won't incentivize them to end the war.

They stopped the 12 day war because they were taking damaging hits and if they kept going , more targets would have been hit with accuracy.

US will just let US soldiers die they don't care about protecting them.

Iran's performance in the region is effective. Though if capability is there, there needs to be a large scale salvo to degrade Israeli defenses.

If there is an operational issue with means to deliver such a strike then that's a different story.

in June Iran was able to launch large salvos on the first 2 days to deplete interceptors

this time due to massive initial Israeli and US strikes, it was not possible

so Iran is behind schedule on depleting Israeli interceptors. until then it can't strike Israel effectively, despite using its most advanced missiles (Fattah and Khorramshahr)

Because likely the want to make shareholders happy. War is big business afterall, i remember during Afghan just the winterised tent tenders on CAGE was worth 300 Million.

I had an Afghan colleague who went back to Afghanistan as an interpreter. He signed a 12-month contract that paid extremely well , enough to cover the cost of his house.
He shared some wild stories about how money was flowing with almost no oversight. According to him, a platoon commander (a lieutenant) would sometimes carry a briefcase full of cash to hand to a tribal leader, with little to no auditing.
He also mentioned contractors doing things like installing a metal door on a mud hut and billing $1M for what was supposedly a “reinforced command center.”


War is a massive business.

Iran has fired 230 missiles at Israel since war began according to IDF

In 12 day war it fired 700 or more

230 is not enough to overwhelm their defenses. They have probably 400 interceptors+ 96 Thaad available for use while rest is for strategic sites only.

Iran would need to get into 400-500 range for Israeli interception rate to go on downward curve which will open way for precise strikes on infrastructure in Israel

But there is open source information that Iran received S-300 systems in 2016 and a few S-400s in 2025, or am I mistaken?

Why should China get involved? This really isnt their fight. I know it hurts to hear this but its true.

Spend some time understanding Chinese people and you will have answers to many questions.

They weren't involved in 1990-1991 either. So no surprise.
