Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Can’t be worse than how the older Khamenei has run it. Literally the most strategically stupid leadership in the last thirty years which has put Iran in this position
People will disagree. But I don’t believe Khamenei was leading much.

As part of any eventual ceasefire Iran needs strong guarantees aggression will not happen again with powers like Russia, China stepping to give strong backing. Iran needs to say from the off any build up of forces will lead to preemptive strikes.

Also not allow US to re-base in countries like Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE. Threaten immediate attacks if US troops enter those countries.

This is probably best case scenario.

Trumpy will ofcourse want a government which is subservient, allows full monitoring of missile and nuclear technology and a share of Iranian oil.

So where we end up is anyone's guess right now.

A question for Iranian political and military experts:

Some of the critics say that selection of Mojtaba Khamenei has turned Iran into "turbaned monarchy," something that the Islamic Revolution rose up against in the first place. He does not possess the credentials of Ayatollah and that's only symbolic. Or accusing him of being an IRGC puppet.

When the war is over, if Mojtaba Khamenei is still the supreme leader, will this create division or unification for people of Iran?

No matter the outcome of the war, India is the biggest loser. They betrayed Iran, betrayed Russia, betrayed the "BRICS" and the "SCO," and shamelessly groveled to the United States and Israel on one side. The result is that the US officially stated: "We won't let India develop into [a power like] China..." "India is just our loyal dog..."All their clever scheming backfired, costing them dearly!

It just means Iran is moving towards a different path, for better or worse.

Regardless of what the jews and west do, Araghchi is right - Iran must make this the final war. Hormuz shouldn't open until all sanctions are removed permanently. Sanctions removal for sanctions removal you could say.
Sanctions lifted and full compensation for the damages that were inflicted (lives, infrastructure etc).

Whether that compensation comes from the US itself or its arab vassals in the Persian Gulf...

I find it very hard to believe that Mojtaba will agree to a ceasefire within the next week or that Trump would do so without doing 'something' about Esfahan and the HEU
I think it's possible. It would essentially be an Iranian victory. Embarrassing for Trump but idk if he has a choice at that point

He's right that a small group of Americans are indeed winning. The ones who bet long on oil prices rising are making a killing!

War profiteering.

why am I getting a feeling that this war is going to be an ultimate defeat for Zionist regime and it will lead to a policy shift in US with Israel..
The world is not gonna be the same after this war

If Iran wins - US will find no way back in ME.

Iran will order the Arabs to work with China.
