Why exactly is USA human shielding though?

I have not come across any satisfactory explanation. Iran was always only going to be interested in harming US assets while avoiding Arab civilian casualties. Americans knew this and could have very easily put their interests out in the middle of the desert if they wanted a fight with Iran while averting civilian risk.

Iran should declare this for what it is, a highly cynical policy by the Americans.

That's right, but from Iran's perspective, its the red line has already been crossed. What additional strength KSA can provide to the mighty US?
