Maybe I'm wrong but to me it seems Israel wants to drag America and gulf countries into this war as long as possible, they don't care about absorbing some damage.

They just don't want there population to see it hence the gag order and giving them the feeling of invincibility.

Conversely it seems trump and obviously Arab countries dont want this was to continue any longer.

Americans aren't really "anti-war"—they're just "anti-defeat."
If Americans were truly "anti-war," how could they allow the U.S. defense budget to exceed one trillion dollars a year?
If Americans were truly "anti-war," why didn't they oppose Trump's invasion of Venezuela and the kidnapping of Maduro?
If Americans were truly "anti-war," why don't they oppose it at the preparation stage before America launches a war, instead of only after it's going badly?Because all Americans know full well that their standard of living far exceeds the global average precisely because of America's global hegemony—and the foundation of that hegemony is America's military dominance.
Americans know deep down that America is just like ancient Rome. To maintain global hegemony, America has to go out and fight a war every now and then. Plunder resources and wealth from enemy nations, flex its muscles at allies and vassals to keep extorting and blackmailing them

I know we don't want to hear it but I think this applies to all societies. Most people in general don't really care about what's going on around them until it actually affects them.

And the small amount that do care don't think it's worth investing the time to do all the anti war stuff. They are just to busy with work, social, games, Instagram, TV etc.

They will only care once they go in a recession and there purchasing power drops.

Only exception is if you have crazy mass media constantly bombarding them about something e.g "russian aggression in 2022"
