Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Iran needs to make the most out of this war.

Because as soon as it ends gulf states will be be expanding on pipelines to bypass Hormuz as much as possible.

So in around 5-10 years time if there is a other war, the hormuz card which is Iran's strongest card, won't be as effective.

America probably would not fear a prolonged war in that scenario.

Pipelines can easily be targeted as Russians showed Europe. No real way to have peace with Iran until both sides literally come to the table.

Nordstream is in the sea so not defended, and easy to sabotage whereas Saudis pipelines are inland and protected by air defence and if damaged it's a lot easier to repair than nordstream.

Hormuz is a lot easier to block, mines drones attacks, sink a single carrier etc
Even at late stage in war when Iran has limited missile, they still have tools to block it.

The war with Iran, for all its complexity and global effects, boils down to a single question: Who can take the pain the longest?

A surge in oil prices points to what may be Iran’s most effective weapon and the United States’ biggest vulnerability in the campaign: damaging the world economy.

Seeking confirmation. There are posts claiming that last night an israeli drone manufacturing facility in delhi was hit and there were massive explosions. According to these claims there were indian+israeli people working at that site and indian seperatist group naxalites have claimed responsibility for the attack. This site was manufacturing heron and harop drones for india, israel and afghanistan. If true this is big and Pakistan seems to be at work covertly.

Sir the "pain" will be global and last long after the war is over.

..and that actually will not work in Iran's favor..especially importers of Saudi oil or even UAE oil (Pakistan)

Pakistan begins importing oil via Red Sea route after Strait of Hormuz closure: sources

Imagine the headlines:

"Why Tehran is allowing Indian vessels through the strait", followed by 3 pages of fabricated drivel.

Their journos like explaining  why things happen before clarifying what has happened....indeed, a certain General Chauhan once behaved similarly vacuously in a Bloomberg interview.

heh .. Speaking of Indian Media regarding Iran ... :ROFLMAO:

Don't they just have 20 GBU-57s ? They already dropped 14 on Iran last time .. that's 3 more .. aren't they gonna keep anything for anyone else ?
I never mentioned they droped MOP - I mentioned they dropped Bunker Busters.

The US has an inventory of the following Bunker Busters:
  • GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP): The most powerful conventional bunker buster, weighing 30,000 lbs (13,600 kg) and capable of penetrating up to 200 feet (61 meters) underground. It is exclusively deployed by the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber.
  • GBU-28: A 5,000-pound laser-guided bomb designed for penetrating up to 20 feet of concrete.
  • BLU-109: A 2,000-pound bomb with a hardened casing designed for reinforced concrete structures.
  • BLU-113 "Super Penetrator": Used in bombs like the GBU-37.
  • BLU-116 Advanced Unitary Penetrator (AUP): Designed for higher penetration capabilities.
  • BLU-118/B Thermobaric Weapon: Designed to destroy underground facilities using high-pressure explosives.
  • GBU-72 Advanced 5K Penetrator: A more recent, advanced 5,000-pound class weapon.
  • B61-11: A nuclear earth-penetrating bomb, which is part of the U.S. nuclear stockpile

I actually thought reading the news about US Navy ships sank by Iranians would be a given in the first few weeks of war, so I'm quite surprised it hasn't happened yet.

All that investments in Supersonic sea-skimming missiles and Hypersonic ASBMs haven't resulted in any enemy ship kills yet while the enemy has racked up lots of kills for Iran's Navy, sinking many of IRIN ships without Iran able to sink even one USN ship yet......

Because their air force and navy are basically non-existent, and it is hard to cover up and coordinate with their strategic/tactical missile force.
