Looks like the meeting is only last a few hours and PM is flying back shortly.

This does not seem like long talks or consultations. This seems like a short conversation they needed to have face to face......

It's not a social visit , something serious is cooking... Pakistan is playing a role that's far bigger than her weight... let's keep the fingers crossed 🤞

Agree, my gut feeling is that this was a simple request and required a simple answer for something already discussed.

I think PM may well be taking nation into confidence when he lands back in Pak

We have done good work in C-UAV cant discuss here but if Farooq Bahi is the person I think he, he will know.

Iran attacks Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia and others symbolically condemn Iran and remain patient.

Iran becomes emboldened by the lack of military response from Saudi Arabia.

Iran tries it's luck and continuos attacking Saudi Arabia for 13 days.

Saudi Arabia is patience, but those patience are running thin. Pakistan shares the Saudi sentiment which has a 2.7 million Pakistani population in the Kingdom.

And, here we are.

Even provincial governments are going for it in their own capacities... looks like it will go the way of solar revolution.

Agree, if after two weeks of being bombed Saudia then asks for help and we say no, I would say the shame and stain is on us.

What can Pakistan offer in such a situation? It is not an offensive on the ground that Pakistan is more suitable to defend against because we can bring manpower on the ground for the Saudis who lack it.

We can offer some assets in the air but the Saudis have their entire Air Force doing the same in a defensive role. On top of that, they have US air defense batteries operating as well. Perhaps Pakistan can help advise and tighten up the air defense posture of the Saudis to become more proactive.

I think Saudis know what and where Pakistan can help and where it is a moot point to ask Pakistan to assist. Pakistan will absolutely support Saudi territorial integrity. But these missile attacks are neither here or there. The Saudis know that Iranians aren't really doing this with the grand design of destabilizing KSA. Iran's approach is "if we go down, we take everyone with us".

Tough situation all around.

While having to keep an eye on India which will become belligerent, just a matter of time. That Modi-Natanyahu jhappy was not just for the cameras.

Regardless, any Pakistani military involvement in this ME conflict, unless its against Israel, will be suicidal. And if you have read the history, in these situations, our tilt has been towards Iran. Simply put. you cant change the geography, your immediate neighbour is, must be your utmost concern. We cannot be seen aiding one against another, rather just suck it up and act stupid while pointing to our own conflict with Afghanistan.
