Rubbish! One tanker was avoiding a SAM (manpad?) flew into the other. Look at the tail damage on the landed tanker.

This Indian analyst lays out a future depending on which way the Iran conflict goes. So, while not a World War III, this is certainly the most pivotal conflict since WW II because of the global impact and the number of countries involved.
And if I were to bet on one side, I'd say Iran would come out ahead in case of a regional war IF they fight as one nation, which they so far seeming to be doing.
