"War of attrition" They must have planned something' right? It was a 2 day war for Trump, then four days, then 2 week? Regime is not falling, I mean they are fighting with the most lethal war machine ever assembled and yet they have denied them their goals' so they know what they are doing.. Recent Us airstrikes on kharg indicate that they are prepping for a landing but it also risks the conflict going into a point of no return, also I Imagine the IRGC has reinforced the Island so any landing force isn't going to take the Island unscathed especially considering kharg is within the range of artillery from the mainland.

They are prepping for landing by bombing the only runaway on the Island multiple times?

Or do you think that the Marine carrier is going to Leroy Jenkins thru the Persian Gulf and hope it reaches the island without being hit by 100 drones and cruise missiles from the massive coastline?

Taking Kharg would be a death trap for any marine. It’s a 10KM by 2KM island with very little places to hide.

Good luck with 5,000 troops trying to hold that.

You either try to clear the coastline first, starting from the Gulf of Oman and work your way to the island or put down the call of duty controller and talk realistically.

Do you really think they going to do an Amphibious landing? Helicopters from Kuwait are within the range of Kharg, the current airstrikes are probably to takeout air defences and bunker entrances around the island.
