Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

There are reports that US amphibious forces are deployed to the Middle East, with their target possibly being Kharg Island, directly targeting Iran's oil lifeline.

Typical genocidal Western military, when they run out of targets they start attacking civilians. Yet they throw tantrums when Russia does the same thing.
you were the one that said Iran should attack infrastructure. And now you cry when I suggest the US could do the same to much more devastating effects. Its time for everyone to tone down the rhetoric . the American public does not support this war. But if Iran starts lashing out then public opinion will turn and then Trump will have carte blanche at that point all bets are off. If you want decades of suffering for the Iranian people then go ahead and strike US economic interests in the middle east. It will not end well for Iran. The shortfall of 13 mbpd will cause short term pain but new oilfields in Libya will add 6.4 mbpd by end of March and US shale producers will happily bring more more production online in four weeks at 100$ a barrel why wouldn't they? Then the Russians will fill the remaining shortfall. The main issue is Qatari LNG, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh will suffer and Singapore, S Korea and Taiwan will be impacted. So you expect any of these countries to sympathize with Iran once they feel the pain of an Iran imposed closure of the Strait.

Iran threatened escalation across the Middle East to retaliate for American airstrikes on its energy hub and Donald Trump urged friendly nations to send warships to secure the Strait of Hormuz, with no sign on Sunday of an end to the war.

As the conflict stretched into its third week, both sides appeared to be digging in for an extended conflict. Three sources familiar with the efforts told Reuters that Trump's administration had rebuffed efforts by Middle Eastern allies to start diplomatic negotiations aimed at ending the war. Iran also projected defiance, rejecting the possibility of any ceasefire until U.S. and Israeli airstrikes end https://reut.rs/4lv3Q2B

And unusually long delay about the missiles or missiles that were launched usually when it’s a long to delay to report about a missile it usually means there has been an impact and they are checking to see if there were death or injuries

Geography and regional rivalries have prevented Gulf countries from finding a true alternative to the Strait of Hormuz, a vital route for transporting oil and natural gas that the war in Iran has effectively shut down. https://trib.al/FSe7cPs

Honestly I need moderations who at least humor me @AZ_HighCountry @RescueRanger @Persian Gulf inknow your out there Persian don’t deny me

You are mixing things up and should best leave this thread because your rhetoric isn’t clicking here. You were the one claiming that U.S. could go after Kharg island, which I said then iran would escalate to match US war crimes. Which iran said they would do. You also said U.S. can go after “bridges, dams, power plants” as part of target banks after I said many of the military targets were already hit (over 8000+ targets the west likes to boast).

So escalation is currently being done by the US including murdering school children as part of their target bank.

It’s time for everyone to tone down the rhetoric . the American public does not support this war.

That’s because they are being led by a pedophile president. Hard to want to storm into battle in support of narcissistic sociopath

. The shortfall of 13 mbpd will cause short term pain but new oilfields in Libya will add 6.4 mbpd by end of March

lol they didn’t even bump out 1.3MBPD in Feb, but suddenly going to jump by 4x in a month? Okay man whatever you say.

and US shale producers will happily bring more more production online in four weeks at 100$ a barrel why wouldn't they? Then the Russians will fill the remaining shortfall. The main issue is Qatari LNG, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh will suffer and Singapore, S Korea and Taiwan will be impacted.

You are out of your depth here. And can’t understand this is much more than just a barrels per day problem. Yes there is also the LNG problem. But 35% of the worlds fertilizer also goes thru the strait for starters. Global supply chains don’t do well to sudden shocks especially when they are trying to combat inflationary and stagflations conditions in their respective economies.

And the west already said they would release 400M barrels but the problem the actual FLOW RATE comes out to about 2MBPD released over months….not nearly enough to offset a 20MBPD shock loss.

It isn’t as simple as turning on the faucet and making up the difference in a matter of weeks as you make it out to be. And escorting tankers thru the strait isn’t a solution either because in the 1980s Tanker Wars US was escorting less than 5 tankers a day vs the 300 ships that need to pass.

Again this is an entire mess of the President’s own doing. He continues to go up the escalation ladder and thinks this is like negotiating a trade deal or real estate deal. He is out of his league and the world is now suffering. Iranians have been suffering for decades because of US sanctions, now the world gets to start taking part courtesy of Dementia Donald

The U.S. decision to temporarily lift some restrictions on Russian oil has delivered a geopolitical victory to the Kremlin on top of the boon that Russia’s war-strained budget is already receiving from soaring energy prices.
