Na bro. I think hes looking for a face saving experience. Iran wont come to the table unless guarantees are given and Israel cant allow him to do that.

You are absolutely correct. Unfortunately this won't change the Iranian relationship with India in the slightest.

Pakistan too needs to be very realistic regarding Iran's limitations versus Pakistan just as Iran is well aware of Pakistani limitations versus Iran. In reality, both of us belong in different camps and we have chosen our side. Notwithstanding that Pakistan will support Iran during this incredibly bloody war. The majority of the people of Pakistan fully support Iran. No questions asked.

My only guess can be that long term aspirations of trade and energy corridors override everything else, actually I'm struggling here to be honest


If we go by the logic of those that support iran's enemies are also iran's enemies then what more does Iran need to see?

Would like to see if they can send several of the cluster missiles and have those bases peppered with shrapnel. Something like 400-500 submunitions landing on the base (5-6 missiles) might be the best way to take them out of service temporarily as they try to clean up the area. I don't know if you can disable the entire base for long with just missile barrages though, but possibly keep them out of service for a week or two and then repeat.

I don't think they have that many submunitions. But Iran is having trouble deploying the firepower. Airspace is dominated by US and Israeli jets making it difficult to move missile launchers around and fire them, without coming under attack.

They performed better against Israel in 12 day war despite being taken by surprise.

I think I would fire at the capital as opposed to runways as damage won't be enough to even put them out of service for few hours.

It is not about objectivity or aversion to an illegal war of aggression... that was totally initiated by choice... subject to which were every other Middle Eastern state... context be damned!
First thing Pakistan was not and is not party to any Saudi-US bilateral ties or compulsions. Neither was it grandfathered in...
A US aggression where Saudis are mere spectators because US chose war ... WITH OR WITHOUT SAUDI APPROVAL AND WAS NOT ABLE TO GUARANTEE THEIR PROTECTION OR SECURITY.
In other words US threw Saudis under the bus, come what may!
Pakistan has no compulsion unless it so CHOOSE!
And that choice comes with many a pitfalls... Pakistan has a significant Shi'i minority and a sacred border.
This war has nothing to do with Saudis except their exposure to US diktat, materiel and bases... ISR capabilities... that for US work under a unified command.
Here is where the US impunity precludes Iranian... because eventhough US can use whatever it may at its discretion... Iran must ties both its hands behind its back to get slapped around. Because then Saudi or GCC sovereignty swings into action only to split the battlefield when it is not.
I know it seems complicated on the other side... it is not. It is Iran vs zion... where zion can sock puppet US and its proxies to do its bidding.

Pakistan will be wise to sit back. Only thing it can offer is the safety of the regime... which is not going anywhere regardless of Pakistan and Iranians even if they were able to, are not after that...

Currently, Pakistan is engaged in heavy diplomacy all over GCC, Iran and the US. But you know what happens when diplomacy fails, especially when it is because of the stubborness of 1 party (which in turn is based on its inability to strike back at its attacker, i.e. the US) and so targets soverign neighbours instead.

Thank God those neighbours have been so accomodating and restrained so far.
